Welcome to the Johnnys Beach Hideaway by Clearwater Beach Vacation homes! BTR 1609

Johnny’s Beach Hideaway is a charming and spacious vacation home, recently renovated, this home now beholds a fresh and modern look, with a game room added to add to your guests enjoyment! Located just steps from the beach, this home is also equipped with a refreshing pool, an aesthetically tropical backyard, and perfect patio to enjoy the Florida air together. This home now has 4 comfortable bedrooms, and 2 beautiful bathrooms, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing seaside escape.

Need to Know

-Renters between ages 18-25 must pay REFUNDABLE damage deposit of $1,000.
-Property is monitored by a camera at the front of garage and another on the southeast corner looking to the backyard.
-After booking you must sign a contract and send a copy of your ID. YOU HAVE TO SEND IT WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HRS.
-Dogs are welcome with a $150 pet fee per pet
-Down payments are either $1000 or 10% of your total (whatever is greater-than)

Essentials:
-Bed linens and bath towels are provided for guests use.
-Basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and garbage bags are also provided to get you started with your stay.
-Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen ware.

Note: Pool heaters run from Nov 1-April 1 (if pool is not reaching 80 degrees earlier then Nov 1, then we will turn the heater on for your stay, otherwise if the temp is 80 or above we will keep it off. Pool heaters do not run 24 hours a day. Pool pumps run 8-12 hours a day and that is when the pool heaters work. Additionally, pool heaters may not reach temp if when temps drop into the 50s or lower.

Please be advised: Due to our property management account with VRBO, we collect the remaining balance if you are outside the 60-day window after your check-in date and after your down payment has been made. Payment can be made via PayPal with a 4% convenience fee, Zelle with no fee, Venmo with no fee if sent as friends and family, check with no fee, or credit card with a 4% convenience fee (only for the balance and not for the initial down payment).

The heated pool was great. The kids loved it. The kitchen and bedrooms were well supplied. The host responded immediately. The location was great, less than a block from the beach, and close to numerous restaurants and shops.It was a very pleasant stay.

Johnny’s Beach Hideaway is a beautiful, immaculate home within a very short walk to the beach. The pool area has a very tropical feel to it and was more popular with the grandchildren than the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable. We all enjoyed the open plan kitchen and living area. There was plenty of room for the whole family and we all loved our vacation in this comfortable home.

My family and I really enjoyed the house for our stay. The pictures don't do justice for how nice and spacious the home is inside. The home has plenty of room for large families. The backyard is wonderful and the newly installed shade roof is a really nice place to sit during the day. The backyard is nice and sheltered from the wind so its a great place to be when its too windy at the beach. The pool is a bit rough, it took its share of abuse from the hurricanes but is still a nice place for a swim. What's also nice is that the house is dog friendly. There is a chain link fence along the back of the property and fences down each side so our dog really enjoyed exploring around the yard. Plus there is a dog park a block away. The house is close to the beach while still being close walking distance to the restaurants. I would recommend staying at this home. We plan on it!

The house is in a great location with a very short walk to the beach and a lovely walkable neighborhood that has a park with tennis/pickleball courts. The interior of the house is open concept and is completely updated. The extra "game" room was a bonus to use as an office for my husband who needed to work a few days. The bedrooms/baths are not large and only 2 baths, but overall a great place to stay. The host was very responsive when we had some questions.

Hosts were super helpful. The walk to the beach is very short and cute childrens park with mangrove boardwalk just as close in opposite direction. Definitely dream beach getaway for us. This was our first online house rental and I was fearful of a long list of to do's for check out and we basically had to put the trash out, so another !

Amazing House in a Great Location

Just spent 8 nights in this amazingly located gem of a house. Literally a block from beach access that was never crowded. We had a mix of young children to 70+ year old's. All of the amenity's were amazing, warm pool, mini arcade games that everyone had a blast with. Kitchen was perfect for large family meals and late night fires were enjoyed by all. Will stay here again when in the area. Hit up nearby Crabby Bills and Frenchy's Rockaway Grille for great food with amazing views and fun bands.

Amazing location, nice space to share ( we had 8 people). Nice outside area with fire pit and pool. Being so close to the beach made it easy and didn’t need vehicles. That being said, we arrived with 8 people for an entire week and had a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 garbage bags, a couple of laundry pods, no kitchen extras like foil, seasonings other than salt. We are from out of state so having to buy these items was an inconvenience and added expense that I have never experienced in another vrbo. There was a few lawn chairs, a beach chair and a wagon which was nice for hauling things to the beach.

We had such a great stay! The property was newly remodeled, beautifully furnished, and just a short walk to the beach. It’s located close to tons of great restaurants, but also has everything you need to cook in if you’d rather stay in. With 4 spacious bedrooms and three pull-out couches, it easily sleeps more than 10 people comfortably—perfect for larger families or groups. The game room was a huge hit with our kids—they loved having their own space to hang out and play. And the outdoor pool and backyard area were clean, well-kept, and made for relaxing afternoons in the sun. We’d definitely stay here again—it really has it all!

Great place, the whole family loved it.

Place was great and the property manager was awesome and super helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone especially with kids. The pool was great to come home to after the beach as well as late night swims.

The property was very well situated within a few blocks of bars, restaurants n the beach. The house’s accommodations were great especially the heated pool facing the canal and Alan was very helpful and responsive when asked. He was so great we have already booked with him for 2026!
