Incredible views, 6BR, game room, fire pit, bunk room, great location!!

Sunset Ridge has long-range mountain views all year around and is great for groups! It has six bedrooms including a large bunk room, a pool table, ping pong, fire pit, and plenty of space to spread out. Come stay at this private home close to downtown Dahlonega, Suches, wineries, waterfalls, river tubing, ATV trails, wedding venues, and much more!! We'd love to host your group and help create some lasting memories!!

HOUSE RULES TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE BOOKING:

-No smoking or vaping.

-Pets allowed (additional pet fee of $250 applies). Max of two pets. Pets must be kept off furniture and inside crate when gone. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damages.

-Please park in the driveway or garage. Not on the road or on the side of the road. This will leave room for emergency vehicles.

-Monday is trash day. All trash needs to be in bags. No loose trash. We have a neighborhood bear. Put trash bags in the green trash bin outside and close the locks on the trash bin. (side note: do not leave food in your car. Our bear will want it.)

-BEAR: Lock your car and leave NO food: We have a bear. Leave no food in your car and lock the door. Put all trash in trash bags and close the latches on the trash bin.

-Bugs: Our home is in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our professional cleaners do the best they can and we have frequent professional pest control services who are using their strongest products in our home. Please be aware there will still be some bugs around our house because it’s in the middle of the woods!! Don’t leave doors or windows open.

-No events or parties allowed. Please respect our property and our neighbors. Please leave the house in the condition you found it, or notify us of any damage. If damage is done to the property during your stay you are responsible to pay for the repair or replacement of damaged property.

-Quiet Hours are from 10:00pm - 7:00am out of respect for the private quiet community we live in.

-FIRE PIT: Someone must be present with the fire at all times. The fire must be put out with the provided water hose (between front porch and attached garage). Fire is a significant danger with our forests and the high winds on the mountain!!

-Please do NOT go down the hill on the back side of the cabin. If you choose to, you are doing so at your own risk.

-No compensation will be given for temporary outages of electricity, gas, water, internet. Report the outage immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored ASAP!

Great stay

We had a group of 12 women for a holiday getaway. Everything was just as pictured in the app. The house was clean and has a beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely stay again if we return!

Excellent property for a large group

This property was ideal for our family staying in the area for my daughter’s wedding. It was a great location to Dahlonega and the wedding venue. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed items. There were some lady bugs in the house when we checked in but overall the place was clean and well kept.

Son's wedding /Family trip

We truly loved this house. The location was perfect and not too far from my son's wedding venue. The house was amazingly beautiful! Very open, clean, & cozy, we had plenty of room. Plenty of windows with a gorgeous view of N.Ga mountains. The game was so much fun for everyone. It was truly a great weekend. We'll definitely return in the near future. Great house for a large group!

We rented this house for our annual girls trip. It was a perfect location to spend a day visiting the wineries, but also set up great for having dinners at the house. Plenty of seating and space, clean, comfortable and the owners were proactive in ensuring we had a perfect stay. I’m sure our group will be renting this house again!

Great House With Game Room

Great house with fabulous views! The house was clean and spacious and met our needs well. The game room was great for both kids and adults, plus plenty of large screen tvs. Everything is beautifully furnished and the house is extremely clean. I would highly recommend it!

Stunning Winter Views!

This property really is a gem! From start to finish working with the owner was incredibly smooth. The property is beautiful and perfectly fit our needs. We had a number of adults in our party and there are many different rooms so we easily figured out the sleeping arrangements. The views off the back of the living and dining rooms are absolutely stunning! The large kitchen is easy to cook and serve in. 5 stars across the board! Will absolutely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family alike!

Quick Wedding Stay

We stayed the night before and the night of my son's wedding in Cleveland. The home is huge and easily accommodated all our family. That was our priority - we all wanted to stay together. Pros: The owner is very easy to contact and responsive. The view is beautiful. (Some of the tree limbs may need to be trimmed to maintain the WIDE, beautiful view). It was unusually hot in the mountains when we were there. The AC worked flawlessly. The game room is great. Things I wasn't prepared for: Bring extra toilet paper and bath soap. Even for only 2 nights and one day, we did not have enough. We also could not find soap for the dishwasher. Since our stay was so short, this was not an issue but be prepared if your stay is longer. The check-in and check-out times were not convenient but we sucked it up due to the wedding. I do believe the owner, being so responsive, would have worked with us if we had requested an extension but we let things go and stayed within the contracted times. It was a lot of money for a 4PM check-in on Thursday afternoon and a 10AM check-out Saturday morning. Again, we knew that when we made the reservation but we may reconsider this when we look into another VRBO stay. (Believe this to be VRBO's policy and has nothing to do with the owners who were beyond pleasant and easy to work with. Thank you Stuart and Leslie). You cannot walk out of the home and go for a stroll in the woods. The home is secluded but access to any walk or trails requires a drive. We had 4 vehicles. Parking is at the front of the house and if we had more vehicles, it would have been tight to maneuver. We found several bugs, mostly dead, but the main floor bedroom had some large black ants walking around. Besides that, the home was neat and clean. On our 1st night, we found several windows and 2 doors unlocked. This house has a lot of windows. It was a slight inconvenience checking them all to make sure our family was secure for the night. The bathroom toilet off the kitchen kept running - big water waste. The top-level bathroom had water pressure issues the morning we left. Most opted to take a shower once we were back home. That part of GA is very pretty and certainly one to enjoy.

We loved this property. We had big family staying here. Age group varied between little kids upto age 75. All enjoyed the property and no complains. Rooms were clean and views were mesmerizing.Host was quick in responses. Their instructions were very clear.

The house was perfect for our family to stay in for our daughter’s wedding in Dahlonega. We had 10 adults in the house and it was just the right size for our group. Stuart & Leslie were very accommodating for our early check in and all other questions that came up and made the entire process so easy. The photo below shows the amazing view from the deck. Friends Wine Weekend

The house was perfect for our group of friends. We did a wine weekend and the location was so convenient to the vineyards and also restaurants and the town. The house itself was so cute and very spacious with so much room to spread out. The views were incredible! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the dining table was huge and perfect for gathering the whole group for meals together and games. I will definitely plan to stay here again if I come back to the area for another wine weekend!

Family time

This home was very comfortable for this extended family get together. Unfortunately the weather was so beautiful we did not take advantage of the game room to its fullest. We did enjoy a couple of evenings around the fire pit. We enjoyed the porch hearing the birds sing and that wonderful view. There was plenty of seating in the kitchen ( which had all we needed to cook for 13 people). We enjoyed all the seating areas for family to gather and even to spread out for reading or quiet conversation. We hope to come back next year!

Early Christmas Weekend

We absolutely loved this property and would love to come back every year. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen for cooking meals, and game room perfect for all of the teens! Sunsets are AMAZING!!! The only problem we had was getting the main tv in the living room to stay connected to the internet. :)
