This house was completely well stocked and large enough for our extended family vacation. On the water, near the beach, excellent location. Host is responsive and accommodating.
We stayed with 3 families and plenty of kids. This place was awesome! The kayaks were a hit with everyone and being able to crab off the back deck was awesome. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at this Bethany Beach rental! The house was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our large family gathering. Everyone had their own space to relax, while the common areas made it easy to come together for meals and game nights. The location was fantastic — close to the beach and local shops. This home is perfect for families or groups of friends looking to reconnect and make memories together.
Rented this house for the second time. It is very well stocked with towels, sheets, soaps and kitchen supplies. It works great for us and our large family. Would rent again.
Exactly as advertised and very comfortable for our family trip. Easy walk to beautiful beach and well stocked with everything we needed for our large group.
Great stay! Place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for our entire friend group and everything was in perfect working order. Would definitely stay again
Beautifully decorated home. Amazing location, well stocked with basic need in every room and bathroom. Tons of towels and linens all organized. Plenty of dishes and kitchen wares/cooking supplies, full kitchens with everything you could need. Location was great, really nice furniture in and outdoor with the beach house aesthetic evident throughout. My family and I had plenty of space and were comfortable for the duration of the stay. Beds were comfy, rugs everywhere, seating was ample, and bathrooms were clean. Communication was good and owner very pleasant.
We had a great time staying at this location. The home (although a little dated) was perfect. Plenty of room, close to the beach, right on the canal, and centrally located both to Bethany and Fenwick.
This property worked great to get our adult children and their significant others all together. The kitchens were well stocked which made cooking easy. They enjoyed the kayaks. The beach, shops, and stores were easily accessed. We had lots of room for 17 adults. It was great to hang out on the back deck. I would definitely recommend for a large group.
The location was perfect. The host was very nice, available and very responsive when answering questions, the house was fully stocked with necessities, the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, the furniture in the rooms were a quite dusty, the trash cans needed lids to keep the crows and other critters out, we had to go out several times to clean up outside property, because the crows were tearing into the trash bags. After a few days going up and down the steps to eat together and to cook a full meal got to be a bit much, but overall the property was big enough and spacious enough accommodate our needs, the location couldn't have been any better. We agreeded that we would rent again, providing the cleaning was done better, if there were screen doors and lids for the trashcans. The location and property was on point, it was easy access to everywhere we needed or wanted to go.

The beach house has 6 large trash bins with lids and a large recycle bin. Trash is picked up twice per week. Bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned by the cleaning service after each rental and we have had no previous issues with their leaving the house very clean.

A professional cleaning service of three people clean the beach house after each renter. The owner also arrives with them to stock the house and inspect the cleaning. All of the bathmats are washed between renters and the house is stocked with paper, detergents, soaps, and other supplies.
There are 16 beds and 3 sleeper couches in this beach house. This renter was informed ahead of time that the owner cannot make up so many beds between renters. This is very common at very large beach houses on the Eastern Shore that sleep 26 people. Renters can either bring their own, rent, or use the sheets in the house.
Each of the two kitchens is provided with a new roll of paper towels.
The renter was informed prior to arrival multiple times in emails that the TVs do not require codes, but the renter did not read her emails. The six TVs all have Roku players and in order to watch TV, one has to simply change the input on the TV remote.
The two kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, appliances, pots, pans, fine china, silverware, plastic picnic plates and bowls, and anything else a renter could possibly need.
We had a major storm in Bethany Beach and three of the vinyl railing spindles on the back deck were slightly displaced in the wind. They have been repaired.
The bed mattresses are very comfortable and all have memory foam toppers. Many of the previous renters have commented on how comfortable the beds are.
The lower level dryer does work. It takes more than one time cycle to dry a load of over 25 wet towels when a dryer is overloaded.
Two spaces for the price of one. Grandparents enjoyed the lower level and access to the dock. The next generation were comfortable upstairs. Community activity on the shaded back deck made everyone happy. The canal access was perfect for kayaking.
We so enjoyed our stay on this property! All 7 of our children, spouses, significant others and 6 grandbabies all fit with room to spare. The layout seemed odd when we first viewed the property but turned out to work just fine with plenty of ways to access both levels. The beach was beautiful, the neighborhood lovely and the weather cooperated during our stay. We so enjoyed the outside space and the use of kayaks was a treat. Our host was accommodating and very nice as we had the pleasure of meeting her upon checkin. Thank you Nancie for a wonderful week with our family!
Place has lots of bedrooms for large gathering. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and kitchen accessories. Description should mention there is only access between the levels outside. We didn't bother locking the doors as the sliding glass doors could not be locked. Place needs renovated but good for a large family. Place also provided kayaks which was great..
The listing was accurate. We had issues with the wifi. Phone service in that area is not very good so the wifi was slow even when it worked. Other than that, it was the perfect place for our large family group.

Coould be better
Could be better. For this kind of money it needs updating. Very hard to wash/dry/pack all linen before morning check out. Bedrooms not conducive to adult couples planning get away from kids.
We docked our boat up to the back deck. The back deck was very nice and easily accommodated our extended family. The house was well stocked with linens and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances.
The dryer on the first floor took a long time to dry clothing. But the biggest negative was the fact that there were no inside stairs connecting the first and second floors.
Unique home that accommodated our extended family of 18 quite comfortably. Additional people might make it too cramped. Well stocked from dinnerware to bedding. Clothes drying took quite long. Enjoyed kayaking from deck landing and ate most of our meals outside on the very spacious deck. No inside connecting stairway, but stairways in front and back were quite adequate. Beach walk a little farther than expected. All in all, a good family week.

To take less time for drying clothes, renters should change the dryer settings and use the high heat setting and timed drying. There are two dryers in the house, one on each level.
For people who cannot walk to the beach, we do have two parking permits to park along the road across from the beach. People can be dropped off and then the last person can park in the beach lot.
Great gathering for a LARGE family especially if a few of the younger ones can share a bedroom or sleep in a couple bunks. The HIGH MARKS beside the roominess of house are 2 separate full kitchens; location of house on a canal that connects to the bay and is close to South Bethany Beach; three high quality kayaks and docking for your boat; big parking lot; great big deck on the canal with kingsize dining/serving table with many chairs and a highly responsive/communicative owner. AREAS of IMPROVEMENT would be dryers that take triple time to dry things and, if it bothers you, dated-looking "feel" of the house interior. The plusses FAR OUTWAY any negatives…and I can't underscore the HUGE benefit of the two full kitchens.

Great location
Just as pictured. Weird layout. No interior stairs so it was really awkward hanging out in the house. No proper stove downstairs so we were always having to go up and down for food and supplies. Great outdoor space.
The whole house could use a little TLC.
Biggest complaint are the ridiculous laundry requirements. They expect you to wash, dry and put away everything! Sheets, towels, bathmats!
I have never had to do that (normal would be to strip the beds and put everything in the laundry room)
The owner was responsive to questions.

The cleaning service takes care of laundering the mats, which takes the full four hours that they are there. Renters can begin washing their towels the night before they leave and wash their sheets in the morning. Renters have until 11:00 AM to depart the house and there are two washer dryer sets in the house, so that should leave plenty of time to wash their linens. There is no stove oven in the lower level.

Place was OK
The inside of the house is a little dated and needs love. Ceiling tiles have seen some humidity damage and are sagging.
The deck is beautiful but has some damage. A chair went through the dry rotted floor board but it was only one and mostly the deck is in good shape.
The week before us was Senior Week and the place was a bit of a mess, flys everywhere and we could never get rid of them. Reported them but they said nothing they could do. We hung a bunch of fly strips and killed maybe 100+. Thought it was coming from inside the walls but at the end we realized it was just left over from before.
Location is great. House is great and affordable for large families. Inside is a little dated.
Hanging on the deck is very nice.

These renters left the doors to the house wide open. They were asked to please keep the doors closed, but still left them open. Prior to their arrival, all flies were removed from the house by the owner and maintenance man.
We searched for a home that would accommodate my husband and me, our 3 kids and their spouses, our 8 grandchildren (all under the age of 7!) and our dog - for 2 weeks! This one fit us perfectly. We were able to eat together almost every evening on the back deck (weather was amazing), and then gather as a family in the spacious, comfy living room. The home came with every kitchen item we needed to be able to cook all our meals. We brought a couple of kayaks along and took advantage of the bay access. I was grateful for the additional safety of the fence around the back deck, and the sliding glass door upstairs was impossible for our littles to open, so heavy, so we didn't worry about them going out without our knowledge. We loved the beach - we must have picked the best time of year to come because we almost had it to ourselves. We had 5 vehicles to park, and there was plenty of space.
Nancie was extremely responsive throughout the booking process and stay. Thank you so much for hosting our family!
The process to rent and get into property went well and the owner was very responsive to questions. There was lots of beds for everyone. The deck in the back along the canal was wonderful. The community was quiet and peaceful. Appliances are fairly new and worked well. Lots of parking for family. Wi-Fi worked well. No internal access between floors.
Primo location, not fancy, well equipped, perfect for our large group
We had a large group, range of ages from seven to over 70, mainly cooked in for dinners, beach filled days and fishing nights. Very well equipped with every cooking accoutrement you could think of, many towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, more! Lots of room. Very short drive to beach trail. Quiet town, and short drives to grocery, boardwalks and shops. Nice neighborhood for walking, friendly neighbors. Not a luxury home, but perfect for what we were looking for, especially with 12 grandchildren! Just our speed!
