Great cabin and description and pictures were spot on. Clean doesn't say it strong enough and communication with Billy was off the charts high.Very nice stay and came back home rejuvenated.
Everything inside and out made us comfortable during our stay. No need to bring anything but food, clothing and drink. The river was not in view but only a short walk. Eateries are about 8 miles down the highway. The National Park is close by also. We enjoyed the quiet setting while lounging on the screened porch or around the firepit.
As others have said, the host was extremely responsive throughout the booking and stay. It was by far the cleanest place that we have ever rented. My wife and I may decide to get snowed in during a winter weekend.

We would love to have you come get "snowed in" but I finally retired and now live down the street. I have a snow plow so you only have to be "snowed in" as long as you want. I will bring my plow down and make sure you do not have to be stuck....LOL. Best post ever.
Very very impressive!! The cabin was better than I was expecting, so clean, so cozy it was wonderful!! Very well equipped there wasn’t a thing we needed to get except food. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. Everything was great. We couldn’t get the tv in the bedroom to work and Billy stayed on the phone with us till we got working, the fire stick just needed a quick reboot, unplug from power source and plugged back in. All in all I would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to the area and I would highly recommend it!! Could not have been any happier.
This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything worked great, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and gas grill. The hot tub was awesome after a day of hiking. Location is convenient to Luray, the caverns and SNP. The host is super nice and responsive. Really had a nice time here. Highly recommended.
Everything was exactly as advertised! We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day out! Took morning walks down to the river and enjoyed a nice fire at night! The hosts were wonderful at communicating and offered many great recommendations for things to do and places to eat! Would love to stay again!
The cabin was incredibly nice and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the DVD library in the evening. The walk to the river was peaceful and beautiful. I definitely recommend Bear Timbers for your stay.
This was probably the most well-appointed cabin I have rented on VRBO. The house has everything you need. Seriously, just bring clothes and food...everything else on already there! The homeowner was responsive and very helpful, providing excellent advice for a day trip to Washington DC. We had a really nice week and enjoyed the area with this very clean and comfortable cabin as a home base!
The cabin very cozy, and the owners spent a great deal of time and effort to not only provide all the information we needed about how to operate the various appliances and entertainment, but they also made the cabin comfortable and welcoming. Also, the hot tub was well-maintained and was a very nice addition to our experience. The cabin and the nice walk to the river made our time there very enjoyable.
Beautiful location and cain. Highly recommend staying here.
Short family getaway with grandkids. Perfect location on the Shenandoah River. All the amenities were perfect and the host was excellent in communication. Will definitely stay here again!
