Walking vacation

Location was the best with bars resturants and shopping only steps away. All city transportation to include train, underground, river ferry and cabs were minutes away. Neighboorhood is so clean and safe.

Apartment was in a great location. We could walk everywhere and close to metro when required. Peter was very helpful The apartment is dated and really needs a refresh (declutter, paint, better lighting etc). But we had a very good stay in Vienna.

Great location and host, property could use an upgrade

Perfect location for walking to the major sites and for transit. Our host was wonderful; met us at the property at checkin, and showed us the property. The apartment was large and comfortable, but could use an upgrade as the decor was old. We were disappointed that the washing machine was broken, and found the street noise a bit loud, but kept the windows open as the apartment was quite warm. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by.

Perfect location to everything possible!

Peter was very easy to communicate with. His place was quiet and comfortable for 2 of us. The extra little bedroom could accommodate 2-3 more people. Washer and dishwasher worked well. The U1, U4, D and 2 tram were 4 minutes away.Uber picked up right outside the main entrance. Restaurants and markets were minutes away. The boat to Bratislava was 4 minutes away. Center of town was a 10 minute walk. I can highly recommend Peter’s place and would stay there again.

Great Location, Very Spacious

Upon arriving in Vienna, we learned that our rental location was ideal. There is a metro stop right around the corner that provided major convenience to the train station and a direct ride to Schoenbrunn Palace. It also is a simple walk to the heart of Old Town. Peter was a great host. He helped with Metro info and gave us tips on how to get around. The apartment provides a large living room space in addition to 2 private bedrooms. I highly recommend it.

Location, location

The apartment was perfectly located on public transit for our needs. The host was most helpful with the checking in process and communication. We took the CAT to the unit although we spoke to information at the airport we did not know how to proceed from the airport. Now that I know a little about the transit I would take the CAT to the U4 to Schewedenplatz. We walked from the CAT and while perfectly safe, google maps walking is not enjoyable. Comfortable unit. Felt safe. Nice neighborhood. 5 stars.

Comfortable flat in excellent location

This flat is old and has not been upgraded but has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The flat would benefit from a complete upgrade but that would be rather expensive so we suggest reseating the toilet so it does not jiggle and also replacing the hand shower support so it is height-adjustable. We would have benefited from instructions for the washing machine and also translations to help us fill out the government form. The best features of this flat were the comfortable beds, lots of storage, comfortable lounge and especially the excellent location so close to Ubahn station, grocery store and restaurants.

Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt in Wien. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und das Appartment überraschend groß. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat viele wertvolle Tipps für den Wien Aufenthalt gegeben. In Punkto Sauberkeit ist noch Luft nach oben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Superb location!

Superb location. Clean apartment that met all our needs (parents and two adult children in 20’s). Steps from two subway lines and additional trams. It was a great base to explore Vienna as well as easy access to train station for day trips. Check in was easy with Peter as he met us at apartment, showed us how to use appliances, and gave directions for nearby bakery and grocery store for next morning.

Perfect location!

Peter was a wonderful host…waiting for us when we arrived and gave us lots of info on the area. Grocery store was close by as were restaurants and the underground and trams were steps away. Vienna is easy to navigate and this spacious flat was perfect for a holiday in Vienna.

Perfect location

The apartment was spotlessly clean which made the stay very comfortable. It was located right at the train and trolly station so we were able to get around easily. And our host Wes very helpful and accommodating.

Great Location

I had a wonderful trip. The location in the innere stadt next to the Schwedenplatz station and the ferry to Bratislava was perfect. The apartment was comfortable although the shower was very small for a larger person. Peter provided some fans and a window air unit when it became too hot to tolerate. It was a bit loud when the windows needed to be open to keep it cool enough.

Convenient Place to Stay in Vienna

Tolle Lage für den Städtetrip

Die Lage ist ein absoluter Traum: um die Ecke liegt der Donaukanal mit Badeschiff und verschiedenen netten Lokalen. Alle touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten außer Schönbrunn sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Tiefgarage im Haus. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist sauber und umfassend, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen (siehe Fotos). Aufgrund des großen Flurs und vielen Schränken ist ausreichend Platz, auch wenn das zweite Schlafzimmer wirklich winzig ist. Hinweis: - zweites Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad/ WC sind Räume ohne Aussenfenster. - Tiefgarage ist wie angegeben nur für max. 1,90m Höhe geeignet - aber auch nur für max. 5m Länge (wir sind mit 4,97m x 2,08m gut aber nicht großzügig reingekommen).
