This newly renovated home, affectionately named Wanderlust in Watercolor, is beautifully appointed, boasts a private pool, and is within walking distance from a sugar-white stretch of sand. Great shops, food trucks, restaurants, and a nature path are also close to your door. Enjoy casual dining in the screened porch, or gather in your backyard oasis -- complete with a heated pool, hot tub, huge outdoor kitchen, and a lounge area with a fireplace and wall-mounted TV. Guests also have access to the nearby WaterColor Beach Club, which includes a shared swimming pool, kids’ pool, sun deck, and open-air bar.

Stylish and contemporary, the living area features a plush sectional and two inviting armchairs. A large TV awaits for movie nights. The chef in your group will adore the entertainer’s kitchen. This upscale cooking space boasts a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and French door refrigerator.

On the entry level, a primary bedroom with coastal colors comes with a king bed and TV. A luxe en suite bathroom impresses with a double marble vanity and walk-in shower. Next door, a breezy second bedroom also has a TV. Upstairs, a third bedroom features two bunk beds, while a fourth bedroom is found next door. Both rooms include a TV. There are three stylish guest bathrooms - two feature a tub/shower combination and another has a walk-in shower. A half bath adds extra convenience.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
1 day notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 50 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location with a wonderful outdoor space

We enjoyed our stay at Wanderlust. It is a beautiful home with a wonderful outdoor space. We spent lots of time in the pool and hot tub. We rented bikes for our teenagers who were able to have some independence while they enjoyed Watercolor and Seaside. The property is in a great location with many amenities. The local property management was very responsive when we needed them.

Found someone else's dirty clothes in one of the beds

The house itself was beautiful from a distance but the inside needed some series upkeep, the lighting down the hall only half worked, the light fixture over the kitchen table only had three bulbs that worked because every other socket was broken and could not hold a bulb. The fan and light over the stove did not work. I contacted VRBO but they were slow to respond and I had a huge language issue trying to speak with them. The entire place needed a better cleaning, dust on the baseboard, very heavy dust on the door to the utility closet. Spilled drinks left in the refrigerator, pans that still had grease in them. There are also numerous water stains on the ceiling where they had a leak but has not been repainted. As much as this place costs I would expect much more. Worse of all is that we found dirty clothes under the covers on one of the beds, this is terrible and inexcusable. We actually decided to wash all the bedding, they did offer to send someone to clean again but we had already started the washing ourselves. I have photos to back these things up. Everything you have read in other reviews about the AV equipment is true, everything is very hard to work. We never could get the TV by the pool to play any cable stations, and I consider myself a techie. The Netflix on the pool TV had every profile locked so we could not even watch Netflix. I travel with my own Roku stick so we used it in the house. The whirlpool never worked with "pad" system. Always offline.

Great Spring Break Getaway

We have never been to Seaside and this property was wonderful. The outdoor kitchen and pool/hotub were key. March is cool so the ability to heat the pool enhanced our enjoyment. I wish we had called in that the fireplace didn't work, because the repair team was responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Watercolor Home

We enjoyed our stay, the house layout was great, our young kids loved the pool, outdoor shower and shady porches. The house was clean, the kitchen was great, and the beds were comfortable. Access to watercolor facilities was awesome. I did have some issues with my Vacasa experience: Issues with the Internet made a week stay difficult for our large family, specifically because the house was advertised to include internet and amenities that requiring working internet to utilize— unable to use the hot tub as tablet requires internet to control, only able to use 1 TV (with connectivity issues) of the 6 TVs on the property, unable to use the sound system, unable to use our wifi baby monitors, unable to do work on our laptops which some guests were relying on, etc. I called the company to express concerns about internet and lack of pool towels, the person I spoke to was very nice and said someone would come to work on internet issue and to bring extra bath towels— no pool towels included. (We would have brought our own beach towels if we had known the house doesn’t have any, but Vacasa e-mail stated to not bring house pool towels to watercolor beach club because they provide towel service, which made us expect those towels to be included ) Extra bath towels were delivered quickly, which was great. No one ever came for the internet issues. Halfway through our stay, one of the bedroom barn doors fell off the top runner, a repairman came quickly to repair that issue. We appreciated the promptness of the repair.
