Amazing host and amazing property

It’s very rare that the pictures live up to the experience. But in this case the property is actually more beautiful and serene than we thought it would be! Absolutely spectacular and perfect for a family of five with grandparents. Pool, breeze, lanai… our mornings and evenings were set for perfect enjoyment! And then there’s Malia... she made sure everything went well from booking to check in to surviving a tropical storm! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

We had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous home for 10 days. The check in/out processes were simple, the staff of LVH was excellent with their communication and knowledge of the property. The location is a short walk away from shopping and dining. Short drive to the beach as well. They do have towels, chairs, ice chests, sand toys, and an umbrella for you to take to the beach. We had a group of nine and felt like we had plenty of space to be a family, but also have privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, as well as a working ice machine. I would suggest only having two vehicles because the driveway is not very large, it was not a problem, just sharing if you’re needing to rent more than two. We will definitely return.

Great week with family

Beautiful property with all amenities - perfect for extended family vacation. Kids loved the private pool, comfy hammock, and movies on the lanai. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals at home or ordering in. Close to shopping, restaurants and beach.

The house is amazing - it was great for our large family vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with all items we needed to create incredible meals, the lanai/view/pool is stunning, there were tons of beach going amenities available for us to use, and the neighborhood was quiet and very safe. The property managers were prompt communicators and were available within minutes when we had questions. I would book this property again in an instant - highly recommend!!!

We had an incredible stay at Maluhia Makai this past week for 5 nights, and can't wait to go back. The location is stellar - close to shops and beaches, and it's a beautiful neighborhood for morning and evening walks. Our kids (4 and 1) loved the pool and the bunk bed room, and our whole family enjoyed the outdoor/indoor living. The house is equipped with everything we needed including beach toys, pool toys, chairs, coolers, and more, and they even brought a high chair over when we asked if one was available. Thank you for an amazing stay in this beautiful home.

Great stay, lots of amenities

Beautiful home, lots of space. Perfect for our larger family, and the bunk room (and the pool) was the highlight for the kids. Amazing space to cook, eat, and gather when we weren't at the beach (only 7 minutes by car), plus restaurants, grocery, and activities. Must-stay location for anyone who prefers activities at the south end of the island. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

Beyond expectations!

This house was everything we could have wanted and more! Perfect for the six adults and two children. Close to several beaches and town. The pool was amazing and we practically lived in the outdoor area! Great fun watching the golfers, and there was actually more of a water view then we expected. We would highly recommend this host and how to come back!!

Perfect in every way

What a perfect place for a family to stay. All rooms had king beds other than kids bunk room. We travelled with an infant and they even had a pack n play ready for us to use! The backyard with pool was absolutely beautiful and was such a quiet relaxing place to spend with family. We loved every minute and would be our first choice if we can ever get back to the island.

Gorgeous property, well appointed, comfy beds, delightful pool...I could go on and on! Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. I only have one suggestion. More dishes and silverware are needed for a family of 9. There was an abundance of everything else we needed.

Amazing family vacation!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time staying at this amazing property. It was truly perfect. The views, the breeze, the pool, the pool fountain, the open floor plan, the lovely rooms, the Sonos speakers, the sliding door that opens the home to the peaceful outside, the hammock, the torches, the immaculate neighborhood and just being here together was magical. Lovely!

A beautiful house and yard in a beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to restaurants and shops along quiet streets and a flat gravel trail. I was told the fire place by the pool and tiki torches could not be used, not sure why not. Otherwise, very well equipped, plenty of towels, a terrific house and lanai, very spacious.

Fantastic Getaway and Location Location Location

This house is very well managed and maintained. It is the perfect getaway. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the house as it was plenty of space for all of us, nine in all, to enjoy family time together. Malia and her team are amazing to work with. The house is perfectly located away from Lihue, and yet very convenient to any amenity that you need. Less than five minutes to the beach, restaurant, pharmacy, store, etc. It's a very quiet and well-kept neighborhood. We are already working on next year's dates to go back!
