The host was extremely responsive. and informative. The log cabin is beautiful and the location is quiet with walking distance down to the river. We were close to golfing Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Richmond, and love this area of Virginia. This was our first time staying in a log cabin. We were not expecting the openness of the upstairs master bedroom. We would recommend this property.

Property was amazing. Great location. Loved being able to fish off the dock. Very quiet and peaceful. It was very clean, lots of kitchen items for cooking, and loved having a grill. When needing assistance with things, I got a very quick response. Only negatives were that the downstairs fridge and outside ceiling fan did not work. Neither of those negatively impacted the stay. Would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing and absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve had booking through Vrbo. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for communication was because there seemed to be two different people responding to my texts, which occasionally was confusing. DO NOT LET THAT STOP YOU FROM BOOKING! Both parties got back to me very quickly and were extremely helpful, but I could see how someone like my parents (who get confused a bit more easily these days) might become frustrated with being told one thing and then being responded to a second time by someone with the same first name saying something contradictory. I wish I could have given 4 and 1/2 stars for that but Vrbo won’t do half points. An amazing place and VERY close to Williamsburg.

Amazing stay

We spent four nights here and loved our experience! The cabin is gorgeous, clean, and well appointed. Some of our favorites were the huge wraparound deck, boardwalk to the water, fishing off the dock, and the fun basement games. The location is a great jumping off point for Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. Overall, this was a wonderful and relaxing get-away for our family.

Very Well Maintained Property, Chick River Access

James represented the property accurately and was very prompt and pleasant in all communications. I would stay here again and highly reccomend the property. Property is very private and had room for our RV a few cars, which was perfect because we were traveling through and needed to park the RV during our stay.
