Enjoy beautiful days in a typical Andalusian country house with its wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada. The comfortable and cosy apartment in this charming country house is situated in the middle of a 10000 square meter big evergreen orange-, olive- and avocado – orchard. The house is surrounded by terraces which are an ideal place to relax. There is also an attractive fountain providing the place to collect ones thoughts or a large pool to cool off in or relax on the patio adjacent to it. Or take a walk directly starting from the country house through the enchanting landscape of the terraces at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and hear the bubbling sound of the irrigation channels which have been here since Moorish times.


Cortijo El Azahar: Cortijo El Azahar is an old, renovated country-house with two floors. The whole ground floor with its two private terraces and a separate entrance is for the guests.

Un vrai paradis en Andalousie

Nous avons passé 2 semaines excellentes dans cette maison où tout est fait pour qu'on se sente bien. Mention spéciale pour la piscine qui est extraordinaire. Et un grand merci à Sylvia et Steffen pour leur accueil. Une très belle rencontre. Nous recherchions une villa avec tout le confort, de la verdure, au calme et avec piscine privée ... tout a été bien au delà de ce qu on espérait. Une excellente manière de faire un bon break pour se ressourcer. Nous reviendrons surement dans ce petit paradis.

Perfekter Urlaub auch in Corona-Zeiten

Dass man auch in schwierigen Corona-Zeiten einen tollen und gefahrlosen Urlaub in Spanien machen kann, haben wir im kleinen Paradies in Cortijo el Azahar erlebt! Die Familie Gross hat alles dafür getan, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an gut aufgehoben fühlt, angefangen mit den getroffenen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen, dem tollen Willkommensgruß (selbst hergestelltes hervorragendes Olivenöl aus eigenem Anbau, Pastete, Salami, Wein) bis zur perfekten Kommunikation, der jederzeitigen Erreichbarkeit bei Fragen und den vielen Tips (Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Unternehmungen). Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und komplett ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt und sich wünscht: Der Pool ist fantastisch, sehr groß und wird regelmäßig auch während des Aufenthalts gereinigt. Großer Smart-TV hat auch unseren Enkel begeistert:-). Klimatisierung in allen Räumen, so dass auch die tropischen Nächte gut zu ertragen waren. Ein riesiger Garten, aus dem man sich selbst mit Weintrauben, Feigen, Avocados und Gewürzen versorgen kann, komplettieren den tollen Gesamteindruck dieses Hauses. Die Umgebung, der Blick auf die Berge und die typischen kleinen hoch gelegenen Dörfer, das wunderschöne Lanjarón und die Nähe zu Granada mit Alhambra (auch nicht überfüllt den Zeiten geschuldet), tolle Strände (wir empfehlen Cagadilla in der Nähe von Montril, auch nicht überlaufen mit viel Platz und Abstand) trugen bei uns zu einem perfektem Urlaub bei. Fazit: Unvergesslicher Urlaub, sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder! Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Silvia und Steffen Gross!

Besser geht es nicht!

Das Haus war einfach wunderschön. Liebevoll eingerichtet, gemütlich und stilvoll. Der Garten ein großes Paradies: Avocados, Jasminblüten, Limetten, Oliven. Der Pool war groß, tief und angenehm kühl, in der Nacht beleuchtet und herrlich zum Schwimmen. Und der unfassbare Blick ringsherum: Zypressen, Bergketten und weiße Dörfer. Auch der kleine Ort Orgiva hat uns mit allem versorgt, was wir zum Leben brauchen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und sind der Familie Gross sehr dankbar für das Vertrauen und die Gastfreundschaft. Es gehört zu unseren liebsten Urlaubsorten. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Fantastisch house , garden and swimming pool

We had a very good week in the house of Sylvia and Steffen.: the house is very comfortabel with some terraces around. Every day we enjoyed the garden with its fruit trees and the swimming pool. Unfortunately we had to leave after a week.....

Merveilleux séjour à Orgiva chez Sylvia et Steffen. La maison est magnifique, le jardin aussi.

Amazing house, value-for-money and very friendly host

To those who want to explore the secret parts of Andalusia and enjoy the serene countryside, this is the house to rent. With a large, deep pool and a huge garden, it is ideal for family with kids. The house is charming, cool in the summer heat and with two floors perfect for both parents and kids. The land lord Steffen and his wife is welcoming and is a very warmth acquaintance - the couple will help you with any questions you may have. Do as we did and rent the house for a terrific holiday at the Spanish coast.

Très agréable résidence dans un milieu calme et magnifique

Grande maison fraîche située dans un grand jardin planté d'orangers, citronnier, avocatiers et oliviers. L'endroit est calme. La piscine est magnifique. La maison est grande, dallée, carrelée, fraîche. Des moustiquaires partout, de très beaux volets, tout est organisé pour la quiétude de ses habitants. Résidence à une heure de Grenade, dans la sierra Névada et les Alpujarras. Le domaine du jamon. Merci au propriétaire, Steffen, polyglotte, qui nous a si bien reçu et nous a ouvert son domaine.

Smaakvolle woning met paradijselijke tuin

Een huis waar je je onmiddellijk thuis voelt, dankzij de smaakvolle inrichting van het huis, de prachtige tuin (vol fruit) en de aardige hosts Steffen en Sylvia. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Très jolie maison dans un charmant village Orgiva idéal pour se reposer et profiter de la piscine.

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique au sein du Cortijo. Mr Steffen le propriétaire a vraiment tout fait pour que nous ne manquions de rien. Nous le remercions sincèrement pour sa sympathie, sa disponibilité, ses attentions et ses conseils durant notre séjour. La maison est très grande, fraîche et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner sur place (epices, huile, etc, ce que l'on ne retrouve pas dans toutes les locations). A l'exterieur, un immense jardin dans lequel on peut profiter de l'ombre, savourer les fruits et légumes de saison, prendre les repas ou encore profiter du barbecue. La piscine est grande et permet de se rafraîchir durant la journée (mon fils a adoré). Quant à la ville d'Orgiva, il ne fait pas trop chaud l'été en journée et le soir il fait frais donc on ne ressent pas vraiment la chaleur de l'été. Endroit idéal pour visiter les environs (Alambra etc). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et sans hésitation au Cortijo. Encore merci à Steffen et son épouse pour tout.

Maison très fascinante!

Nous somme arrivé à la date prévu on était réceptionné par la voisine de Mr Steffen qui était super gentille et aimable, la maison est super bien situé au milieu de la nature dans la village de Orgiva qui est à 50 min de Granada et 1h20 de Malaga.On était étonné du faite que la maison était complètement équipée, les jouets, les lits très confortables, les matériels du barbecue, grande TV smart+système audio et beaucoup plus à voir, vous trouverez même les ingrédients pour cuisiner! La grande piscine et le jardin immense ce sont la part la plus fascinante car les vus autour sont tout simplement magnifique!! La village de Orgiva est une belle petite village ou vous trouvez des supers marché des café et des restaurants donc vous avez tout à coté de vous.On n'a pas eu l'opportunité de rencontrer Mr et Mdm Gross car ils étaient en voyage mais ils sont super gentille et respectueux, ils nous ont laissé de payé la deuxième moitié du loyer à notre rentré et à notre aise car on avait pas du cash donc merci pour votre confiance cher monsieur Steffen. Cette maison est également le meilleur point de départ pour découvrir l’Andalousie ; je vous la conseille fortement car vous allez jamais l'oublié comme moi :)

Schöne Ferienwohnung in einem großen Naturgarten

Wir haben zwei erholsame Urlaubswochen in dieser schön gelegenen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist mit ihren 85 qm geräumig und sehr großzügig geschnitten. Sie verfügt über eine vollständig eingerichtete große Küche, einem gemütlichen Wohnbereich mit zwei bequemen Lesesesseln und einer Couch. Das Bad ist groß und hell, nett gefliest und mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet. Das Schlafzimmer ist mit einem großen Doppelbett und guten Matratzen ausgestattet. Wir haben dort sehr gut geschlafen. Ansonsten haben wir ausstattungsmäßig in den zwei Wochen nichts vermisst. Als sehr angenehm empfanden wir auch die schönen Außenanlagen mit genügenden Sitzmöglichkeiten, die zum Essen und Grillen im Freien einluden. Der Pool war toll und sehr gepflegt. Es stehen bequeme Liegestühle mit Auflagen und Sonnenschirmen zum Verweilen und Entspannen bereit. Die Gartenanlage ist riesig und verfügt über viele Orangen- und Avocadobäume, daneben gibt es auch Feigen und sonnengereifte Weintrauen. Zu unserer Zeit waren leider nur die Feigen und Weintrauben reif. Sehr lecker. Bis zum Ortzentrum nach Orgiva sind es knapp 5 Autominuten. Orgiva selbst verfügt über alles, was man zum Leben braucht (mehrere Supermärkte, Bäckereien, Käserei, Bekleidung, Apotheken sowie einige Cafés und Restaurants). Orgiva ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Alpujarras und in der Sierra Nevada. In knapp 30min befindet man sich an dem wunderschönen Badestrand von Salobrena. Die Vermieter sind nett, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht bei Problemen und Anfragen schnell und unkompliziert zu helfen. Als sehr zuvorkommend empfanden wir auch den Willkommensgruß, bestehend aus einem großen Obstteller. Da bei unserer Anreise die Geschäfte in Orgiva geschlossen waren, haben die Vermieter sogar mit Brot, Käse, Schinken, Wein und Wasser für unser leibliches Wohl gesorgt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Riesen Pool, schöne Aussicht

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im Cortijo. Die sehr saubere Wohnung lässt kaum Wünsche offen, die Betten sind bequem, vor allen Fenstern sind Mückennetze. Der Pool ist riesig und abends hat man von dort aus einen sehr schönen Blick auf die beleuchteten Kirchturmspitzen von Orgiva. Tagsüber blickt man auf die grandiose Berglandschaft. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war sehr gut. Jede Anfrage wurde ausführlich und schnell beantwortet. Außerdem verwöhnte er uns mit einem Willkommensgruß. Man kann zum Ort laufen, aber ein Auto ist schon sehr empfehlenswert. Auch für Ausflüge nach Granada, ans Meer oder in die Berge. Wir waren in der Woche allein auf dem Grundstück, hatten also auch den Pool ganz für uns.

Belle propriété avec Piscine au pied des montagnes

La propriété, un peu à l'écart du centre ville d'Orgiva est très agréable, la maison typique andalouse est très confortable et pratique. La piscine est magnifique et juste... indispensable. Toujours très agréable de se baigner en admirant les montagnes. La terrasse et le barbecue également très pratiques pour dîner le soir. La localisation géographique est vraiment à mi-chemin entre la mer et la montagne, très pratique donc. Les propriétaires très gentils et très prévenants, que demander de plus ? Finalement le seul bémol concerne le chemin d'accès à la propriété : pas toujours facile d'y croiser une autre voiture et salissant parce que c'est un chemin de terre. Mais bon lors de notre séjour ils étaient en train d'en faire une route en dur donc j'imagine que c'est terminé maintenant.

Traumhafter Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Ferienhaus liegt absolut ruhig. Trotzdem ist man mit dem PKW in kürzester Zeit beim Einkaufen oder im Restaurant in Orgiva. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Es ist von einem riesigen naturbelassenen Garten umgeben. Vom Pool hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Berge der Alpujarras. Die Vermieter, die die meiste Zeit nicht anwesend sind, sind sehr freundlich und verwöhnen ihre Gäste mit einem Willkommensgeschenk. Wir empfehlen das Haus jederzeit weiter und werden sicher auch selbst wieder kommen. Thomas und Gabi

Fantástico Cortijo!

El cortijo está en una zona con unas vistas muy bonitas de la sierra de la Alpujarra, la casa está muy bien, muy limpia y con todo lo imprescindible. La piscina es grande y estaba muy cuidada, es un sitio fantástico para desconectar. La atención de Steffan el dueño fue fabulosa durante toda la estancia. Volveríamos sin lugar a dudas!. Muy recomendable.

tres belle location en Andalousie

Nous avons passé 15 jours extraordinaires au Cortijo el Azahar, jolie végétation, maison très agréable et fraîche et avons profité sans modération de la belle piscine. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis chaleureusement à notre arrivée. Orgiva est bien situé pour les personnes qui aiment découvrir le vrai visage de l'Andalousie au travers de visites de petites villages dans les montagnes. Situé seulement à 50 kms de Grenade, cela nous a permis de découvrir la ville et la merveilleuse Alhambra. Nicole et André - région parisienne - France

Traumhaftes Domizil in wunderbarer Umgebung

Es ist schon ein Weilchen her, dass wir Gäste im "El Azahar" waren. Allerdings schwärmen wir gelegentlich nach wie vor von der herrlichen Zeit, die wir dort verbracht haben. Vermietet wird die untere Etage des Hauses, die obere stand damals leer und wurde wohl nur am Wochenende von den Vermietern selbst genutzt. Die Wohnung enthält alles, was man für einen angenehmen Urlaub braucht. Absolutes Plus ist aber der riesige Garten mit Orangenbäumen und Weintrauben, die einem wortwörtlich in den Mund fallen. Ein kleiner Springbrunnen hinter dem Haus dient als Ruheoase. Zwei Katzen dienen als Spielkameraden für Kinder (wie geht es Canela?). Der Pool ist mächtig groß und sehr gepflegt. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge ist ebenfalls bemerkenswert. Orgiva strahlt eine unglaubliche Entspanntheit aus und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für verschiedenste Ausflüge. Wie schon in der Beschreibung vermerkt ist man schnell in den weißen Dörfern der Sierra Nevada, die ein idealer Startpunkt für Wanderungen sind. Trips an die Costa Tropical, nach Granada etc. sind ebenfalls problemlos möglich. Wir planen gerade unsere nächste Spanien-Reise und werden sicher irgendwann zurückkommen.
