The hideout is a 1 bedroom 1 full bath with a kitchen apartment loft nestled in the redwoods just three miles from the beach and 5 miles from Jedediah State Park redwoods just a few miles away from any grocery shopping and dining in the area the Hideout is located behind security gates the property is fenced and cross fenced we are pet friendly and have beautiful yards for your pet's we welcome 420 guest

Fully equipped kitchen with coffee and creamer in the morning. There were two of us staying there and we had plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home. Farm fresh eggs were amazing, we personally didn’t have to purchase anything extra for breakfast! We were given very detailed instructions for getting to the town, beach, and Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. Already miss it and would 100% stay again.FYI: When arriving you must text the host to open the gate, but then have a remote for the rest of your trip. The gate makes it feel very private!

Check-in was a breeze, we showed up kind of late, so we met her in person, and she handed us the gate remote and keys. Told us the basic details of what we needed to know, and that was it! Extremely comfortable, clean and cozy place, kitchen had all the basic seasonings and some even extra pantry foods and condiments. Very homey and calm vibe. We really enjoyed the chickens and ducks! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Fantastic Redwood Retreat

The Hideaway was a very cozy spot to stay while exploring the redwoods and crescent city. Only five minutes from town, but is super quiet and felt like a remote retreat. Aneka was a fabulous host and made our time very special.

Relaxing Country Hideaway

Really quaint place with all the necessities. A thoughtful, lovely lady owns and manages this charming place that’s a little bit in the country complete with chickens and fresh organic eggs in the frig. We felt very at home and relaxed here.

Aneka the host was great! She had recommendations for everything! Hiking, food and local attractions! The location was great with quick access to town and hiking trails. The Hideout was great as we were in and out every day a great home base!

Natures getaway

My husband and I recently stayed for four days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Aneka, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The place itself was perfect — quiet, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location was ideal, close to all the areas we planned to explore, yet tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting. We slept well every night and loved the little details, like watching the friendly chickens as we came and went. Most importantly, I felt safe and completely comfortable throughout the stay.If you’re looking for a serene, convenient, and charming place to stay in Crescent City, I highly recommend this spot. 10 year anniversary trip

Perfect spot! Only minutes away from groceries, restaurants, the beach, and the Jedediah Smith Redwood state park! We had a wonderful time and Aneka was very accommodating and helpful!

Good home base for exploring

This was a perfect home base for exploring this coastal area (redwood parks, Brookings in Oregon, Crescent City and its nearby beaches) for a couple days. The unit was very comfortable and is located in a nice, quiet, wooded neighborhood just outside of Crescent City. Aneka was very friendly and we had a lot of privacy.
