Great location but a bit dark inside.
The house was the perfect size for our group and a short walk to the beach which was our primary reason for staying there. We enjoyed our time and would book again.

We had a wonderful time with our 2 adult daughters and 4 grandchildren at CdL. One of the best parts was access to the private beach and park which was very close by. We spent several days on the beach and walked down there in the evening to enjoy pizza & smores. The home is turn key equipped. You don’t need to bring anything but you suitcase & beach toys!
The property was well maintained and stocked. The beds were super comfortable. It was a last minute Christmas gift for my children and granddaughters. The walk to the lake was short and worth it.

Not well cleaned comfortable house
This house is ideal for family and friends because of the many rooms and independent areas guests can enjoy.
Got a fantastic grassy area in the front to enjoy and the lake is 15 minutes away if walking. The free pass to the private beach was fantastic!
The house is full of old furniture and every drawer and closet is also full. A few items are very useful but most of them are just collecting dust.
Because we had a crawling baby, we move one bed and checked around. We quickly discovered spider webs, trash, old socks and dirt underneath beds and furniture (got pictures to prove it).
That's when instead of asking for another house, we decided to clean it ourselves, even though we were charged with a very high cleaning fee.
When we informed the manager about it and asked to wave the cleaning fee (kind of earned it), she charged us for moving furniture around and gave us only a $200 discount.
We need to recognized that the house was clean as if your mother in law was coming to visit for a few days, but it was not prepare to handle a crawling baby for sure.
The intention of this review is not to harm anyone. We just happened to know the business (own 3 STVR's in Hawaii). It will be very bad for us to never clean underneath furniture and beds: bad reviews for sure. The amount of dirt and trash we found told us how often they really clean. Besides, this is a house that is managed by a company not by the owners.

We rented Corona del Lago for the week of July 4th. The house is only a few minutes walk to the lake... Julie (the manager) was responsive... the house is well-stocked... well-maintained... and the beds are incredible!!
It was a very hot time in Lake Tahoe. This house has almost no ventilation and most of the windows don’t have screens. It’s very difficult to sleep at night. There were fans in the closet and we used them but it didn’t make much difference. Since we were at the end of the renting season the carpets were dirty. . It’s a nice size house and very good location. If you’re looking for a sand beach, this is not the beach for you. I had envisioned a beach I could walk to and Swim however this one Was rocky And the water was filled with boats.

Check-in was super easy. Cabin was super cute and worked great for us. This was a fantastic location, close to Lake Tahoe and the private park/beach area was awesome - we spent a great deal of time there and at Sunnyside ;)

Corona del Lago was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The living room was spacious and open with plenty of seating, the dining room fit us comfortably and the hot tub accommodated us well. It was also well stocked with paper products, despite the warning to bring our own. This is great for large groups on a ski vacation.

We rented Corona del Lago for a group of 6 friends (3 couples) to go skiing. The location of the house was perfect, close enough to the grocery stores and food in Tahoe City and just a 15minute drive from Palisades/Alpine. The house was very spacious, the kitchens well stocked with pots, pans, and appliances and the hot tub an excellent addition for relaxing after a long day of skiing. We appreciated the fact that there were 3 separate bedrooms with queen beds for each couple in our group (we ended up not needing the room with the bunk beds). We made excellent use of the kitchen to cook some tasty breakfasts and dinners and appreciated the well stocked appliances. My only problem with the house was that the bed in the lower level was very worn. It had a sizable dent in the middle which made it less than perfect. I think the mattress is probably a bit too old and replacing it would vastly improve the comfort of that bed. We also noticed that the sheets and towels were washed with some extremely strongly perfumed detergent which bothered the people with sensitive skin. It would be much nicer if you could switch to using new scent free detergents for your linens and towels.
