Seahorse Cottage Bungalow - Only 7 Blocks from the Beach

Seahorse Cottage is only blocks from Jacksonville Beach (dog friendly - HUGE back fenced yard), close to Mayo Clinic, and has recently been renovated. Whether you are looking for a short-term vacation, or a long term stay in a home with all the amenities, we are set up for you.

The home has 3 bedrooms with a California King Bed, Queen Bed, and a room with a twin bed. If you need to get some work done while on vacation the 3rd bedroom has a built-in desk and computer monitor for you to use as well as high-speed internet. If the sun gets to be too much the home has 2 large screen TV's, cable, streaming services, DVD's, board games, and books for you to enjoy indoors.

Your front door is only 7 blocks from the sand and sea. The home is centrally located in Jacksonville Beach and is a short walk or even shorter bike ride to many of the areas attractions. Don't want to travel with your bike? We have you covered. There are several beach cruisers with locks in the garage for your use.

Traveling with children or pets? We have a fully fenced backyard and are located less than a block from Gonzales Park. There is room there for your dog to run, playgrounds for your children, and a basketball court. You will also find an assortment of balls for your use in the backyard or the park. There are sand toys and body boards for the beach. And we have your pets covered with bowls and a crate in the event you need one.

If you are looking to get out and find something to eat or drink, we are just a few blocks from Margaritaville, and a host of other fantastic restaurants. We have detailed some of our favorites that we will send you in our welcome guide once you book.

If shopping is what you are after, we have a ton of eclectic beach stores, art studios, and are located a short drive from the Atlantic Beach Town Center.

If you are a golfer, there are over 30 golf courses in the greater Jacksonville area, including TPC Sawgrass and the players championship just 7 miles away.

If you are looking to stay in, there is also a BBQ grill on the patio, plenty of furniture to sit around and talk, and a fire pit to enjoy the evenings.

The Seahorse Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. It was close to family, beach, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The house is fully equipped with everything one could need for a wonderful vacation.

The welcome book had every question answered. The hosts did lots of thoughtful planning with this listing and we had everything we needed. Having my dog there was terrific. They even provide clean sheets to put on the couch so my pup could relax there too I loved the big swing in the backyard where Ospreys flew overhead. The kitchen was well stocked. One minor note, the sheets and towels have a perfumed laundry scent and one of my guests has allergies to scent. We laundered all the sheets in hot water after one dreadful night of her allergies going crazy. Maybe a fragrance free detergent would help other guests too. All in all, it was terrific and I believe I’ll be booking again!

Fabulous place!

This was a fantastic place to stay in Jax Beach. Close to everything, park, beach and restaurants. The home was extremely clean and well-appointed with all of the necessities we needed. Great neighborhood too!

Great place if you have a dog traveling with you.

The house was comfortable and located close to restaurants and shopping. Walkable neighborhood and fully fenced back yard. After years of traveling with a dog, this was the best yard by far.

Fabulous!

We have stayed here several times now and it is by far our favorite in Jax Beach! Everything is close by, the neighborhood is peaceful and nice to take walks around, and the back yard is really a great area to relax. We highly recommend this inviting, comfortable home away from home!

Great Location

We had a great stay! Our dog loved the back yard, it was only a couple of block away from the new pickleball courts and an easy walk to the beach. The place was clean and nicely appointed with lots of amentities like bikes and beach toys, towels, etc. A lot of attention to the details to make it a comfortable stay.
