This was a very enjoyable stay. This cute little room is located right in downtown Sweetwater with a front view of the street and train. We walked in with music playing and it was very relaxing. I love seeing the history throughout the building. If I had a slight issue, communication with the host was excellent and they helped me right away. I definitely recommend staying here.
Absolutely loved this property. Historic district of Sweetwater and Heather has done a fabulous job of renovating the properties. Our room was above the former family pharmacy with big windows and a view of Main Street. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
The room was exactly as advertised. Perfect for our short trip. Nice area, with some cute little shops, and a great Italian Restaurant within walking distance. I would stay here again if we return to the area.
Beautiful place. In a great location. Walking distance for shopping and several places to eat. I will look for this property the next time I’m in the area. As others have mentioned there is a train track across the street. My sleep was not hindered and I’m a light sleeper.
Place was great. The town is classic southern small town with nice grassy park area for dogs or evening walk. Nice restaurants and shops around Main Street. Only issue is the train runs thru downtown…couple of them run thru the night.
Great location, clean property, and Heather is an amazing host. She is prompt in her responses, goes above to make you feel welcomed, and for you to feel at home!
We stayed in the Archer Suite.
The accommodations were very very nice. We had everything we needed. Self check in process was a breeze. We will be back!
There were too many trains. The noise made it hard to sleep . The town was quaint and nice . The room was very nice . There were 22 stairs up to the rooms . The stairs were steep. We managed fine but others may not . Overall it was a good stay .
The bed was amazingly comfortable but the noise is just too much! I know it’s a train town but…. We still had a great time and the town is beautiful. Thank you.
A nice change from the usual hotel experience. Unique and convenient. I would not hesitate to stay again. Be aware, steep stairs to climb so not a good choice if you have trouble with that. There is no ice machine so if you need ice, this also would not be a good fit. But, I enjoyed my stay.
Everything was as advertised and as expected. The bed was fabulous as was all of the furniture and bathroom. I couldn’t ask for anything better except for the trains. I know that this is not something the owner has any control over. Just tuff to sleep at times. Overall I think we will return in the future.
Sweetwater is my hometown, and it is charming. We loved staying downtown, walking around Main Street, and going for dinner and then coffee the next morning—all within steps from our room. The suite we stayed in was comfortable, clean, and, of course, charming! We will definitely book here again.
Quaint whistle stop town with antique shops etc. Train is across street but adds to charm. Lovely renovated property. Well appointed suite and very comfortable king size bed and comfy pillows. Will definitely stay there again if back in this area.
