The location was good for our visit to a music festival at the Caverns. The view is gorgeous! We initially had trouble with the entry code but Meredith was a prompt communicator so we were able to get settled in on time. The house is lovely and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and appliances. We appreciated all the welcoming extras. Thank you!

We stayed the weekend of 9/25/26 - 9/27/26 and just one word: AMAZING! A priceless weekend for my family as a total of 10 traveled from many states to watch our daughter play volleyball over the weekend at Sewanee. From the moment I booked the house, Meredith was available and answered every question within minutes. She tended to every need (moved 2 twin beds together and added an air fryer) that we had leading up to the trip. The view is spectacular off the huge deck; the fire pit on the deck was perfect for the low 50's at night. My son loved the hot tub and we had everything we needed to cook every meal over the weekend. Every bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed every secone we were there! Only a 10 min drive to Sewanee .. and the perfect getaway! We will be back!

Best equipped kitchen we have ever had at a VRBO. Beautiful property and house. 5 years ago we stayed just down the road. It’s one of our favorite areas. My favorite spot was sitting on the top deck in the morning watching the trees. Amazing.

Stunning Getaway!

This property is the pinnacle of fantastic experiences in Monteagle. Everything was so clean and well organized. The kitchen is well equipped and the owners included lots of thoughtful touches.

Glorious views, wonderful stay!

This was the perfect family spring break get-away. Gorgeous, clean, comfy, well-stocked house with all the thoughtful touches. Perfect for relaxing and playing board games, great hikes only a short drive away. And did I mention those views?

Great Weekend

Wonderful house, great views, in a secluded setting while also convenient to shops, groceries, etc. The hosts were attentive and friendly. It truly looks as great as the photos show. We hope to return.

Sewanee campus tour

We stayed for a long weekend in order to tour Sewanee. The house was a perfect fit for a comfortable, enjoyable weekend. Meredith was an amazing host with a “care factor” that was above and beyond!

Everything was lovely. There were thoughtful touches everywhere. The kitchen has spices and oil. The refrigerator has basic condiments (mayo, ketchup, mustard…). There were welcome snacks and a generous bottle of wine. Everything worked and was in excellent condition.

Outstanding is the word for our 2nd stay at Sunset at Bear Cove. The house is great-plenty of room and well-stocked with everything. Meredith & Michael are terrific hosts. You can't go wrong with this house and these hosts. We will be back.

This property is a really wonderful! Beautiful views, very comfortable beds, A amenities in the kitchen for cooking, plenty of towels and wash cloths. Super thoughtful host who provided snacks and water, toiletries, Kleenex, detergent and things like extra trash bags, paper towels and a new kitchen sponge. Our friends rented a much pricier house in gated community nearby that was desperately lacking the basics. Also, if you have kids or family - this house is sooo good. I kept thinking that the owners must be really fun people. Would definitely rent this place again.
