Spacious home in a nice location
Our extended family of 15 enjoyed our stay at The Historic Rideout. The house is spacious and is nicely equipped. It is in a nice quiet location with a small waterfall and park across the street which we used for a family photoshoot. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The owner provided a lot of information on the house and the area. The Vermont Country Store was a 5 minute walk away.

Great spot!
The house is fantastic, and in a great location. Despite all the floods the week before everyone on our golf trip had a great time. Just be cognitive of the neighbors at night as our small group didn’t realize they are right next door. David the host was great the house is awesome and everyone had a fantastic time! Would love to rent again with my wife and son!

Great house in a perfect location
We booked this house for our annual friend group ski trip and it did not disappoint. The house is located perfectly for travel to Okemo with it being only a 15 minute ride to clock tower base. One of the best parts of this house was the high number of bathrooms. Typically vacation houses focus on how many people can we get in one house and forget about the bathrooms. Having 6 bathrooms throughout the house was great and we never had cold water! Makes it quick and easy to get everyone through without taking too much time. Definitely will be looking at Vermont Escapes for our trip next year!

Amazing stay for large group, close to Okemo
My group of 12 had an amazing time at the house. First - it's even bigger than the pictures make it seem. Every room was cozy and comfortable (the main bedroom is HUGE), the shared spaces were also great. And don't underestimate the importance of this many bathrooms with a big group! The kitchen was perfect to cook a large group dinner. The parking is spacious and the drive to Okemo (and other nearby mountains) is straightforward and just about 15 minutes.
