Stayed here with our group of four couples and we enjoyed cross country skiing at Forbush Corners, as well as the wonderful ambience of this lovely home in the woods.

Better than pictured
This property suited our group so well for cross-country skiing and hiking. Kitchen was completely stocked with all we needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the skylight in the upstairs bedroom. The fireplace (with the push of a button!) made hanging in the living room cozy and warm. The house was immaculately clean. We also made use of the pool and hot tub at the club house. What a delight after skiing! We had a small problem with the door lock (make sure your group reads all the house rules) which was quickly fixed by the owners. The only downside was that the basement bedroom was a bit chilly for the couple down there. We loved it and hope to back!

After many years of renting vacation homes to visit our retired parents up north, we decided that we love Michigan so much we should invest in it and share that experience with others. This is a personal vacation home that we open up to renters when we aren't using it. Randy is originally from Florida, is Junior Managing Director for a local county road association and loves to explore breweries! Nicki is originally from Flint, MI, is a dental hygienist, and loves to explore the outdoors. We met and married in Fairbanks, AK while we were both serving in the US Army.
