I've stayed in many VRBOs and this one is, by far, the best. Simply beautiful location, secluded, serene, and Mary, the owner, is a jewel to work with. Just the best! Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Thank Mary for opening up your lovely house. We will definitely try to return.

Great for large family.

Lovely house, just like the picture. The location is great. We barely seen people, which was what we like. My kids had a blast, my mom described it as "being in a hallmark movie"

2nd stay!

We had the best trip! Such a sweet family cottage with plenty of room for us all. Dolphins, sting rays, horseshoe crabs were in abundance during our trip. Thank you for a wonderful trip again!

Perfectly peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A peaceful getaway, with plenty to do, away from the chaos and heavily populated beaches. We practically had the beach to ourselves. The kids loved kayaking in the ocean while my husband enjoyed fishing, day and night. The owners were pleasant and easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

Almost Heaven, St Teresa; our group age from 65 to 84 , the house was great for us old folks.

The property was everything that we hoped for . Beds, kitchen , dining , and porch were great and well furnished. Yard and outside porch were also very nice and well used.

Glorious Time

Our time spent at the Carrol Beach House was outstanding. The historic property was beautiful and relaxing. We were grateful for the kayaks too. We bought shrimp in Panacea for each dinner and enjoyed lots of beach time. We headed to St George Island to the State Park for some beach combing and surf fishing. Caught our first Pompano there! Everything about our trip and the property were outstanding.

"Ladies" Week at St. Theresa

I arranged this get away for myself, my sister and 3 of our best friends. I have been staying up and down the North Florida coastline (renting) for over 35 years. I have to say this house was my all time favorite. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back next year. Thanks for sharing your beautiful beach house.

Soul Renewing

I am a sixth generation Floridian that aches for the Florida of my youth. I spent almost a week feeling like I was seven again. My heart is full of gratitude for finding this special place. I was able to share these days with my mother and grandgirls, making the stay even more exceptional 🙏

Wonderful Home

We had an absolute wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. And the owners are fantastic. We did have a problem with roaches. We were not happy about that at all. I will say though, the owners were very helpful about the situation and got over right away to help and spray the house. The house is beautifully done and very inviting.

Thank you for your review and comments. We were shocked about the roaches but I want to assure everyone that we had never had that problem before and the pests have been completely eliminated now. We still can't understand how they were there so suddenly and are sorry for the inconvenience they caused.

fun get away

Loved the remote area away from all the hubbub. We enjoyed being right at the water. Take groceries with you. Not very many convenient places to shop BUT towards the end of our week we found out that insta-cart did deliver there! Be ready to really escape from your busy-ness. Well stocked kitchen. Just wish there was a pool! It would be perfect. But plenty of water activities: kayaks, paddle boards, floats, nets. A great place to unwind. Mary was a great communicator!

Family Vacation

The Beach House was great. There was everything we needed available to us and more. Everyone thought the beds were the best. It was great having 2 refrigerators, freezer and 2 washers and dryers and 2 bathrooms. The air-condition was great. The kitchen has stocked with everything we needed above and beyond. Also, the 2 water coolers, pack in play, highchairs, etc. We also enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboard, beach chairs. The large deck was great to enjoy especially with Infants sleeping inside. The Wi-Fi was fast and TV / Cable work great. The beach was very private and enjoyable. we plan or staying there again next year. I highly recommend it, and we give it an Exceptional rating.

Perfect Beach House!!

This home had everything...panoramic view of the Gulf, as close as you can get to the beach, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, and grill. The beach was ours alone most days, other than an occasional neighbor walking by. It was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The 80’ long air conditioned sleeping, eating, and relaxing porch was an amazing hangout for the whole family. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The house was clean, comfortable and well arranged. We slept great all week, please let me know what kind of mattress was on the bed in the bedroom by the garage. We’re in the market for a new mattress and that’s the one we want!!! Thank you for sharing your home, we loved it.

Most relaxing vacation ever

This was such a precious house with tons of charm; a perfect place for our family vacation. The three bedrooms offered adequate privacy and there was so much common space we were always able to spread out (indoors and outside), but the house isn’t huge so we were always near each other…which is a good thing. The kitchen was great for cooking meals every day, the bathrooms were large and there was always plenty of hot water, even for 10 people. The 2 refrigerators and standing freezer provided enough space for all our groceries for the entire week. On top of this, there were so many ‘little’ extras that just made us feel like we were visiting a friend- shampoo, bath gel, laundry detergent, beach towels, coffee, paper towels. The yard is absolutely beautiful and offers plenty of shade for cornhole or just relaxing off the beach. Overall, I could not have been happier with this home or St Teresa. We had 4 generations staying together, from a 1 year old to 73, including young adults in their 20s, yet everyone had their own ’favorite thing’ about this place. I hope to come back for years.

Perfect house for families with kids

Pictures did not do the house justice. Views are awesome. We were a group of 9. Tons of room. Loved having 2 washers and dryers as a larger group. We had 4 kids and a sister in-law out on the sleeping porch :) Area is very secluded but still plenty to do. We let our 11 year old roam the beach and play in the creek all day with his new beach friends ages 10 and under. Only a few families out on the entire beach at any given time. Kids loved the paddle board and kayaks. They have everything you could possibly need already at the house. Tons of seating. Had no issues but any questions were answered very promptly throughout the process. My kids loved finding hermit crabs and lots of other creatures on the beach. Dolphins were out 1 day. We would stay here in a heartbeat if we come back to the area (Getting a bit old for 900 mile road trips:) Thanks for a great trip!
