You drive up a tree lined street to a part of Sonoma which is still one of the valley's best kept secrets. The area is home to three famous wineries.. One is California's oldest- Buena Vista. The home is an eight minute drive to the town of Sonoma and its historic plaza. Though you are close to the town you will feel worlds away. The night sky is open and filled with stars, the sounds of crickets lull you to sleep. The wildlife is abundant and the porch makes for some wonderful bird watching.

Such a lovely home in a beautiful location. It’s a bit off the beaten path which allows for spectacular night sky views and lots of opportunities to enjoy the birds, deer and rabbits.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely gorgeous location, super amazing little getaway in the hills, yet close to everything. Awesome host, super friendly, accommodating, and one who goes above and beyond. Hot tub was awesome, high quality tub not a Costco job. Television had lots of channels, comfy furniture, and an awesome landscape. We truly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this place if you are in the Sonoma Napa area. They even provided drinking water, had dishes for both indoors and outdoors, had notes on things to remind you how to use it or what it was for, internet was adequate, even provided jacuzzi towels and other little classy touches. Above and beyond, and I am a frequent Vrbo/orher user so I speak from plenty of experience

About the host
Your host
I grew up in Marin County and moved to the beautiful valley of the moon over 20 years ago. I love hiking, cooking, pottery, traveling, and welcoming guests to our beautiful home in the hills on the east side of Sonoma.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is a very special place. It’s home to a variety of wildlife… Including resident turkeys , dear, and a myriad of birds who flock to the fountain. Sonoma is a designated slow, Cita. . The neighbors walk the street, greeting each other. All the dogs know each other… And it’s a very welcoming place.
What makes this property unique
The property is 3/4 of an acre and the surrounding properties are between five and 10 acres. So, do you have the benefit of the larger properties and beautiful vineyards and greenery… we love our home with a beautiful manicured yard and such amenities as the hot tub and sauna and outdoor shower
