Welcome to your mountain escape at Cozy Cottage - a warm and inviting Wintergreen retreat designed for relaxing, reconnecting, and enjoying everything the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.

At the heart of the home is a spacious, open living area made for gathering. Settle into the comfortable seating surrounded by warm mountain-inspired décor, cozy up by the fireplace, or enjoy a movie on the large-screen TV. Two leather chairs create a perfect conversation spot for morning coffee, an afternoon glass of wine, or cocktails after a day on the mountain.

The living room flows seamlessly into the dining area and fully equipped kitchen, keeping everyone connected whether you’re cooking, eating, or simply hanging out. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, and dishware for everything from hearty mountain breakfasts and home-cooked dinners to easy takeout nights. Gather around the dining table for six, or grab a seat at the kitchen peninsula for a quick breakfast or cup of coffee.

The first-floor primary suite offers a comfortable king bed and spacious private bathroom featuring a beautiful freestanding soaking tub - an especially relaxing way to end a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring Wintergreen.

Upstairs offers even more room to spread out. A dedicated workspace makes it easy to stay connected when needed, while the welcoming loft provides another large-screen TV and a twin daybed with trundle - perfect for kids, movie nights, games, or additional sleeping space.

The second bedroom features two full-size beds along with beautiful mountain views. The third bedroom includes another king bed and its own small private porch, giving guests a peaceful place to step outside with a cup of coffee and enjoy the crisp mountain air.

Your Own Mountain Retreat

One of the highlights of Cozy Cottage is the expansive back deck and its beautiful four-season mountain views. Spend evenings gathered around the fire pit in Adirondack chairs, enjoy dinner outdoors at the six-person dining table, or relax in one of the hanging chair swings while taking in the surrounding woods and mountain scenery.

Whether you’re visiting for fall foliage, a ski weekend, a summer escape, winery hopping, hiking, or simply a quiet weekend away, the outdoor space makes it easy to slow down and enjoy being in the mountains.

And when you're ready to explore, Wintergreen Resort is only about 1.5 miles away. Hiking trails are also easily accessible by a short walk or bike ride, with wineries, breweries, outdoor adventures, and some of the area’s best attractions just a short drive away.

After a full day exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, come home to Cozy Cottage — comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly positioned for your Wintergreen getaway.

These are starter quantities, so for longer stays we recommend bringing or purchasing additional supplies. Guests may also want to bring favorite items such as coffee, bottled water, cooking spray, and specialty cooking ingredients.

Mountain Environment
Part of the charm of Wintergreen is being surrounded by nature. The home is professionally maintained by a pest-control service; however, as with any mountain property, guests may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife.

Exterior Security Cameras
For the safety and security of the property and our guests, there are two exterior security cameras - one at the front of the home and one overlooking the back-deck area. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

Weather & Cancellations
Mountain weather can occasionally affect travel. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking. Refunds are not provided for weather-related conditions.
