It features one very special and all-important amenity - incredible views and disappearing sliding glass doors to enjoy them fully. In addition, this oversized space offers stainless steel appliances, including double ovens, and two dishwashers. An abundance of cabinets means that even the largest grocery orders can be stored with ease. With two separate islands seating a total of 6, the chef need never be alone.

Your group can enjoy your chef's creations in style. With the incredible views just inches away through the expansive patio doors, you'll have the best seat in the house for every meal.

Sleeping Accommodations and Bathrooms

Five spacious bedrooms ensures that each member of your group or family will enjoy a restful nights' sleep and awake refreshed to enjoy another day at the Sanctuary at Sacred Mesa.

The primary suite is all about romance, with a king-size bed from which guests can gaze directly at the seemingly endless red rocks. Enjoy some time to yourself in the private bedroom seating area or take your morning coffee and savor it at the dining table just outside your bedroom door at the edge of the infinity pool.

The ensuite bath offers a two-person shower with rainshower features and multiple body spray jets. For a more leisurely experience, try the two-person Jacuzzi tub.

The first guest suite has a king-size bed and private patio entrance, with a TV, private seating area, and views of the red rocks. The ensuite bath features a tiled walk-in shower.

The second guest room has a king-size bed, dual nightstands and lamps, a ceiling fan, a smart TV, a full jack and jill bathroom, and the ever-present red rock views.

The third guest room offers two queen size beds, a ceiling fan, a smart TV, and a full jack and jill bathroom, while the fourth guest room (above the garage, perfect for the kids or the kids at heart) offers three queen size beds, a day bed, and a ceiling fan, with a half bath just down the stairs.

There is also a queen sleeper sofa and half bath in the media room, which is often used as an additional bedroom.

All bedrooms have individual thermostats and available floor heating so that each group can set the temperature for their own comfort.

Indoor Recreation Area and Game Room

There's no need to miss a workout at the Sanctuary at Sacred Mesa. In our 1500 square foot converted garage, we offer a home gym equipped with a weight machine and several cardio machines—including treadmills, a treadclimber, and a stationary bike.

In our Man/Kid Cave next to the gym, you can also watch the game on the 82 Inch big screen TV, play a multitude of XBox 360 games, or enjoy some friendly competition as you challenge your friends and family to a game of pool, ping pong, basketball, darts or pickleball.

Outdoor Amenities

The 3000 sq. ft. patio is where the Sanctuary at Sacred Mesa truly shines! Here, we feature a 45' infinity pool with a beach (gradual slope) entry, in full view of the glorious red rocks. You may want nothing more from the day than to simply enjoy the scenery from the cool comfort of your new favorite place on earth.

If you do decide to emerge, however, there's so much more to enjoy on the beautiful grounds. Spend quality outdoor time with family playing bocce ball, shuffleboard, or horseshoes. Or test your golf skills on the 9 hole putting green.

If you'd like to simply relax, chat, have happy hour, or take in the peace of your surroundings, it's easy to do in the many cozy group seating areas on three sides of the Sanctuary.

To feed your body as well as your soul, take advantage of the outdoor kitchen/bar and gas grill for a delicious barbecue, enjoyed at the al fresco dining table.

As the sun sets, grab your favorite people and jump into the soothing warmth of the 8-person hot tub (with observation deck/bar for those who want to stay dry but still join in the fun and take in the VIEWS). And for the perfect end to the perfect day, you can all gather around the propane campfire pit to talk about the memories that you created together that day and the plans for many more adventures tomorrow.

Things To Note:

Maximum occupancy is 16 people at all times. No pets, no smoking, no commercial usage, and no large gatherings or events are allowed on site.

Bring an adventurous spirit! The Sanctuary at Sacred Mesa is located in a remote area. You will need to drive 10.3 miles down a graded gravel road to reach the right-hand turn to the property (Sacred Mesa Trail). We highly recommend a 4 x 4 vehicle, particularly after a rainstorm! The nearest town is about 20 - 25 minutes away, so be sure to stock up on whatever you need before you go to the property. IMPORTANT! When you navigate to the Sanctuary, do not use the actual address. Type “The Sanctuary at Sacred Mesa” into your navigation device and you’ll end up at the front door.

A true desert sanctuary
Stunning location, beautifully appointed property, absolutely perfect for a large group (we were 14) of people comfortable enough to live together. The shared spaces and amenities made our communal gathering truly special, while the property is still expansive enough to allow for ample personal space. Additionally, responsiveness of the property manager was incredible — every question, no later how small, was promptly handled/answered.

Experience not worth the cost.
There’s plenty to love about the property, but sadly overshadowed by a ripple of experiences one just doesn’t expect given the cost. Loves: 1) view, 2) airy / spacious main living space 3) well-equipped (except for cleaning supplies). Rippled of experiences:1) the drive into property is bumpy and broke parts of two vehicles (Range Rover: knocked out water pump/shook lose the water line on windshield wiper, Audi A8 - flat tire and blew out front hydrolics) 2) signs leading up to the property “Homes not Hotels” just doesn’t give you a great vibe to start one’s vacation after a long road trip. 3) neighbor honking and yelling “this is private property, you can’t be here!” While already stuck with a flat tire on the side of a public road. 4) neighbors building super high speed bumps that even an bottom of SUV was scraped. 5) conditioner for main living area needed to be fixed two days after check in as one of the AC units locked up or frozen - so one of the rooms also was too warm for our family members (property manager did bring portable ac units day after our check in). 6) our flat tire only had a hole without any nail or screw but clearly punctured- asked to have owners review cameras but did not hear back. 7) while in miles Sedona doesn’t seem far away, that dirt road is at least 45 minutes out not really making it too convenient to want to explore. So we stayed in 4 of the 5 days and that one day we did go out; caused $6,000+ of car repair cost.

Beautiful property
My big family and I had such an amazing experience at this property. Even during July when the temperatures are high we had so much fun. Would recommend canopies or shade if you plan to be out by the pool all day!
