Miriam is one of the kindest and friendliest hosts we have worked with. We travel a lot with VRBO and she is exceptional! The house has everything you would need. Close to the beach. Quiet area. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler! It was a game changer for our trip.This will be our go to place for Virginia Beach! See you next year!

We could not have had a better experience at this property. Miriam anticipated our needs, had things on hand that were both important and not usually available in a short term rental (alcohol swaps and bandaids), and was generous with info about the community resources and the property. It's a great location, has comfortable stylish furnishing and some charming decorations. Everything worked well, stove, dishwasher., showers, wifi, streaming services. Hope to stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience with Miriam and thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay in her spacious townhouse. The location is perfect—a two-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. We were especially pleased to discover that 4th Street is situated on the quieter end of Virginia Beach, yet only two blocks from General Booth Boulevard, which offers every chain and local restaurant imaginable, along with grocery stores, drugstores, and other conveniences.Two covered parking spaces are conveniently located at the base of the steps leading into the townhouse. Large-screen TVs are provided in the living room and both bedrooms. Unlike many vacation rentals, Miriam supplies high-quality sheets, quilted blankets, dishes, and flatware. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and virtually every accessory you could need, and the bathrooms are thoughtfully supplied with toiletries and essentials.Communication with Miriam was delightful throughout our stay. She responds promptly, provides clear instructions for a smooth check-in and check-out process, and is very knowledgeable about the area, offering excellent recommendations when needed.Bottom line: We hope to return and would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting Virginia Beach.

Virginia Beach Retreat was exceptional! The property is well cared for and well stocked with all the essentials. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner while there and never needed anything the kitchen didn’t have. A great location too. Boardwalk and beach are just steps away and easy to access. The Virginia Beach Retreat was a 10! The home was extremely warm and welcoming! I have to say impeccable with cleanliness! Our family loved being so close to the beach and close to Waterman’s restaurant. My husband loved being close to the inlet so he could fish. Perfect Spot

This was a perfect spot for our end of summer getaway to the beach. It's in a quieter area with little traffic and just a short walk across the street to the beach. There were beach chairs available to use and a well stocked kitchen. The host was easy to communicate with and the place was super clean!

Highlights of the property were the proximity to the beach, the graciousness of Miriam, and the extras that she allowed us to use (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc). Would highly recommend! Only thing I would adjust/change is potentially putting in some skylight blinds...woke us up a little earlier than we would have chosen. ;)

We are thrilled to share our dream getaway with you. We traveled to Virginia Beach for years with our children, staying in hotels and with family to spend a few hours at the beach. We fell in love with this house the minute we saw it. We love every season, and with the city hosting year round activities, we decided to share the dream. Join us at the sweetest spot in the oceanfront.

Why they chose this property

This is the most unique property on the oceanfront. We have views of both the ocean and the marina. We can walk from our front door onto the boardwalk for 3 miles and never encounter a car. At the extreme south of the beach, there is fishing, surfing, shopping, and dining without the chaos. There is no need to drive with something for everyone. Fully outfitted gourmet kitchen, large capacity washer/dryer, larges screen TVs, comfortable leather recliners, and so much more.
