The Vieux (View) is a gorgeous cabin boasting an amazing view of the mountains and much of Pigeon Forge. Set atop its own mountain, but without the long, steep drive to get there, The Vieux is the perfect place for your next Home Away From Home vacation. Sitting on 12 acres, there are 6 other cabins which are each 2 bedrooms and sleep 4-6 people & 3 other rentals. Rent everything for a Family Reunion or a Retreat.
The Space: There is a personal firepit in front of the cabin with steps leading down to it and 8 Adirondack chairs around it.
Please note only regular vacation rentals can be booked on here. Weddings cannot be booked without prior approval of the owners. Ask for additional information. Please look for The Mustard Seed Venue in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
There is a Pickleball Court on the property. Just bring your racket and balls and play while your friends sit on the benches to watch.
High cathedral ceilings, real wood walls, tall floor to ceiling stone fireplace, 2 living rooms with an over-sized 85" screen TV in the downstairs living room, arcade room, a separate game room with a pool table, foosball table, ping pong and more. Upstairs is shuffle board and another sit down arcade game. All these make The Vieux a unique place to stay. You can hike for hours on the property exploring everything around. BBQ at the outdoor kitchen, relax in the hot tub while enjoying the view and there's a lot of seating around the balcony where you can relax at night with a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset or sit outside in the morning with a cup of coffee marveling at the sunrise. 3 long, handmade, wooden tables in the dining room will seat over 20 people. Beds include: 3 King size, 2 Queen bunkbeds, 1 Full size bunkbed & 1 Queen hide-a-bed. There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand). This is around the corner from the cabin. Go to 1215 Pine Mountain Way to find the gazebo, mountain view area and a bench swing that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the mountains behind it. Additional pluses are that it's only 6 minutes to The Parkway, 10 minutes to The Island and Gatlinburg is only about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

We had 17 family members stay in the perfect cabin in Pigeon Forge…a total of 35 members of my family in cabins near by from 8 states.
Memories were made, and it was a fantastic stay!
Hosts were truly professional and anticipated any needs we had, Highly Recommend!!!
My family and son in laws family came up to stay at the cabin. It was amazing. The Vieux was large enough for everyone to comfortably have space to hang out. There were so many games we could play since the weather was blistering and it’s only a few minutes from everywhere we wanted to go! This was definitely one of our favorite family vacations and we will never forget it.
We had a small intimate wedding ceremony and reception for our oldest son and his beautiful wife this December and the lodge was a great venue. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative. The wedding ceremony was beautiful with the vaulted ceilings and the view on the deck created a fantastic background for pictures. Thank you Kathryn for a great experience.
This was the perfect spot for a friend reunion. We had 20 previous camp counselors get together and loved this cabin. Huge tables for us all to eat at, plenty of space for all of us to gather together, and also space to spread out. Spent mornings drinking coffee looking at the Mountain View and afternoons playing yard games. Kathryn is really responsive and wants to make sure all your needs are met. Highly recommend.
We held our wedding here at the Vieux and though there are a few places to hold it outside on the property, the Tennessee humidity limited our options. Kathryn was great, though, she informed us that we could rearrange anything to accommodate what we needed.
A piece of traveling advice: Take Pine Mountain Road to Gibson Hollow Ln. This is the easiest route up the mountain and has the least amount of twists in the e road.
Thank you, Kathryn for helping us make our vacation and wedding special!
We booked the cabin the cabin got sold and the new owners did not honor our reservation. They cancelled our reservation and between canceling and rebooking we feel like we may have been accidentally over charged. Other than that all 15 of our family loved it.
This property is absolutely beautiful, very well stocked with anything you could need and easy to get to from parkway, would give this a 10. Owners are fabulous to work with. Highly recommend.
Stayed with 3 families through Thanksgiving. Having 3 floors worked great with plenty of seating and Kitchen space. The two large tables in the sunroom was even bigger than we needed. Everything was exceptional.
We had a wonderful experience. The cabin was conveniently located. It has a beautiful view. It had plenty of room for everyone and it was well stocked with anything you would need. We would definitely stay here again.
I celebrated my 75th birthday at the Vieux.
It was everything and more!!!! There were four generations of my family with me at the cabin. Kathryn, our host, was gracious and knowledgeable. The cabin was beautiful and had all the expected amenities: the jacuzzi (brand new, by the way) every cooking need you can possibly think of, but it also had things you might need for a small child. The games met all the age groups from toddler to adult. The host left us suggestions on where to eat and plenty of coupons to use for amusements and activities. Corn hole and s’mores rounded out our days
We had a fantastic time. And, I had a birthday to remember! Thank you Kathryn
We loved our visit here! The property is spacious, great hiking loop, beautiful view and places to be outside as well as inside.
Our family ages ranged from 3 to 87, and everyone had fun!
My cousins and our families decided to rent a cabin for a weekend family trip. There were 4 families, a total of 15 of us. This cabin was beautiful, so spacious and well laid out. The tv’s had great choices for all age groups and the kids had many activities to do. The owner was respectful and replied to any questions promptly. We love this cabin and it’s location, and look forward to booking it again in the future.
