About this property
Sunsets over the mountains! Deer grazing daily! A truly pastoral setting!
"Best ever!!! I’ve stayed in over 40 Vacation Rentals during my travels, and Eric’s place is by far and away the best. The views are stunning. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The place is adorable, it has everything you need and doesn’t feel “tiny” at all. And Eric is the most thoughtful, proactive host. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. Will be back again and again to this place, highly recommend." - Recent Guest Ashley

Spend the morning on the deck with coffee and a book. Head out for a day of hiking, sightseeing or exploring the surrounding mountains. Come home, prepare dinner in the kitchen and relax on the sofa while taking in the view.
Or do absolutely nothing.
Sometimes that's the best part of a mountain getaway.
Come experience the peace, comfort and incredible scenery for yourself. Your mountain retreat is waiting.
Guest Access
A Few Things to Know
The unit is located on the upper level of the property, so guests will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the entrance. Unfortunately, the garage located on the lower level is not accessible to guests and is reserved for the owners.
The stairs are the only access to the apartment, so please keep this in mind when booking if anyone in your party has mobility concerns or difficulty with stairs.
Once upstairs, you'll have your own private space, including the living area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and access to the beautiful outdoor deck and its spectacular mountain views.
Other Things to Note
A Note About Our Pets
We live in our home, located approximately 150 feet from the Carriage House, so you'll have the privacy of your own space while knowing that we're nearby if you need anything during your stay.
We’re animal lovers and share our property with dogs and cats. Our dogs will remain at our house and will not have access to the Carriage House.
Our cats, however, are part of the neighborhood here and may occasionally wander over for a visit. They are not permitted inside the Carriage House, and we make every effort to keep them out. That said, because we live on the same property, we cannot guarantee that you won't encounter a friendly cat outside.
If you love cats, you may consider this an added bonus! If you're allergic to cats or simply aren't comfortable around them, however, this property may not be the best fit for you.
We want to be upfront about this so you can choose a place where you'll be completely comfortable during your stay.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Leave the linens and towels on the floor
Turn off the A/C system on the wall, crack the slider by the TV (leaving the screen closed) and turn the range hood fan on high.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We've found that strong perfumes / colognes are difficult to ventilate, so please be considerate.
Please don't put your wet towels on the furniture. Unless they're not wet, I guess.
If anybody's mother would scold you for the way the place when you are ready to leave, you're not ready to leave yet.
