Beyond Ideal Location, Supreme Comfort

My family and I checked into this adorable beach bungalow. It looked cute from outside but inside it was supremely luxurious inside with modern fixtures, plush furniture, extremely comfortable beds, and upscale linens. Everything was brand new and thoughtfully designed. We were most enthralled by the shower in the master bedroom. It was super cool. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and even coffee. You couldn't beat the location on this quiet charming street, just two blocks from the beach and within walking distance of boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. My husband loved using the bikes. This is the perfect house for a small family or two couples. We loved it!

A fun and relaxing vacation

We loved the cottage and all the amenities and the location was perfect for all of us. However, I could not give cleanliness an excellent rating because the outside maintenance was lacking. Our “neat Knick” friend was so bothered with the shrubs needing trimming that he went out and bought some shears and proceeded to trim them😳. Leaves were all over the side area so we had no desire to gather out there😢. Please take care of the outside and the place will just about be perfect!

Lovely house near the beach

We loved our stay! The quick walk to the beach was a bonus. The house had everything we needed. Loved having an ice maker and filtered water. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at this little gem of a place.

Super Stay at Salty Seahorse

My family and I have been renting houses on St. Simons for 15+ years. First time at Salty Seahorse. Hands down, one of our best trips. The property location can't be beat. The house is clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and perfect for family or friends. Easy walk to the beach and best restaurants on St. Simons. The hosts were extremely nice throughout the process and check in was seamless. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect Location

Location was perfect and the ice maker was amazing! Everything was comfortable and clean. Bunk bed bedroom is right off the master bedroom, so definitely something to consider when booking. Only negative thing - we now have to upgrade our shower at home to the one that's in the master bathroom! Thanks for a great vacay!

Beautiful Beach Cottage

Well stocked and nicely furnished! Everything was clean and well maintained with plenty of room for a family. The cottage was situated on a lovely tree lined road just two short blocks from the beach. Easy bike ride into town or walkable to restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful week!

More Than We Expected!

We rented the Salty Seahorse based on location and excellent reviews, and it turned out to be even better than we hoped for! Our party of four ranges in age from early twenties to early eighties, and this home was perfect for all. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spacious - the layout is fun and fabulous. The board games, bicycles, and beach chairs were a huge plus. Check-in and check-out were seamless; we had no problems during our stay. The only down side for us was that we could not stay longer. We would definitely stay at the Salty Seahorse again and hope it is available for our next trip to St. Simons Island. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful house, great location!

This house was a great choice! The house included many thoughtful amenities to make our stay so comfortable - beautiful dual head master shower, ice machine to fill the beach cooler, spacious pantry for all the food we brought and bikes to tour the island. An added bonus was the beach cart provided since ours broke!
