The property was perfect for our group of 5. Lots of inside and outside space and the beds were very comfortable. Our only suggestions are to add more forks and some throw blankets. The property was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It was perfectly situated to bike to the village and the beach.

Very nice house with lots of outside seating on the deck and porches. Bedrooms were great! The kitchen was open to the living space and well equipped with the exception of utensils for indoor use as well as the grill. Our dogs were happy as well were. Look forward to to next year.

The house is in a great location and was very comfortable. There is room for improvement in the home. It needs some TLC. Cleaning the slip covers on the couches, cleaning the living room rug and the quilts on the beds would help. One bathroom had long dark hair in the tub and on the floor. The bath mats were tattered and need to be replaced. As mentioned above, the house could use some tlc.

We made a last minute visit to SSI and had to find accommodation quickly. This house worked out perfectly and the rental agency was very easy to work with. The home is bright and roomy, very clean, and convenient to everything. We very much appreciated being able to bring our pups with us. The street

The pictures do not do justice for this property. The house is beautiful. There’s plenty of room for larger families. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The screened porch and deck were fantastic. Being pet friendly was also the main attraction for us. The neighborhood is small and quiet, which is perfect for walking a dog. The furniture in the living room was so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings. The only negative comment was the height of the bed in the master bedroom. If you are short, you’ll need to use a step stool, which is provided. It’s in the laundry room. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. We will definitely rent this beautiful home again.

Great beach getaway

Caroline’s was so pretty, plenty of room and in a great location with a short walk to the beach. Easy drive over to Jekyll Island. We brought our dogs along and found St Simons to be very dog friendly. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. The front porch was great for your morning coffee drinking too.

We loved this home! It's bright and comfortable, with plenty of space for our needs. Most importantly, it's immaculate. The location is great - you can walk into town to shop, dine, or stroll by the water. We were very thankful the owner allows fur babies to stay and ours had a wonderful time. The rental agency, Real Escapes, was very helpful and absolutely gracious. That isn't always the case and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful. We will definitely return to SSI and are glad to have established a relationship with such a professional and personable agency.

SSI November ‘24

Overall this was a great place to stay. A fairly quick walk to both the beach and the village. The kitchen was well stocked, which we really appreciated. The office is only open Mon-Fri, so the response is slightly delayed for non-urgent questions.

Enjoyable Stay

The property is in a great location near restaurants and beaches. Great neighborhood. The house with three large bedrooms and three large bathrooms was accommodating along with the open concept of the living room, kitchen and dining area. Exactly what we were looking for. Great home. The only criticism: master bedroom carpet had a number of large stains.

Great location, comfortable stay for SSI friends reunion

Easily walkable to the main village area and very spacious/comfortable! While we appreciate the cleanliness, our only complaint was the almost unbearable bleach smell upon our arrival that unfortunately lingered throughout the stay. Would be cautious if you are very sensitive to smells.

The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location. It is clear the owners care about the property and are working on improvements, but as it is, we loved it. The layout is lovely and we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We noticed there were not a ton of utensils, especially forks, but for our family it was not a problem. The front porch is fantastic as well as the screened porch. The water pressure in the master is heavenly after a beach day. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great location, dog friendly too!

My husband, baby, and in laws stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t have had a better time. Lovely front porch and screened in back porch, spacious living space with high ceilings. Location was ideal- just a 15 minute walk from all the shops and restaurants near the pier and a quick walk to the public beach. We hardly used our car while on SSI! We loved being able to bring our dogs with us too!
