Well-being awaits just outside Carcassonne, in a village about 10 minutes from the famous medieval citadel and its ramparts. You’ll stay in a holiday rental located in a charming historic building. Its location is ideal— the cottage is in a quiet village, set apart from the tourist areas yet close to the region’s must-see sites, all within less than half an hour: the Canal du Midi and its locks, the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois, the Cathar castles of Lastours and Saissac, and the magnificent landscapes of the Montagne Noire—with its lakes, waterfalls, and mountain ranges—where hiking is a popular activity. At the cottage, you’ll have access to a private, secluded terrace with garden furniture, and a barbecue is available for your use to delight your taste buds. You’re welcome to use the large shared garden with the owners, where you can relax on the lounge chairs while soaking up the sun or enjoy a game of pétanque. Private, secure parking is available on the property. The owners, Claudie and Lionel, welcome you to the cottage for a relaxing and exploratory stay, with the option to enjoy massages, reflexology, and mineral therapy sessions with Lionel. A stay dedicated to total well-being! The cottage is attached to the owners’ home and is on one level, featuring a living room with a seating area comprising a sofa and a TV, and a kitchen equipped with a multifunction microwave (with grill) as well as a dining table. A separate bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The first bedroom has two 90-cm beds and connects to the second bedroom, which has a 140-cm bed. Wi-Fi is available in the cottage. Pets are welcome provided they behave well (maximum of one pet allowed) and for an additional fee.
