We had a blast in Fredericksburg and this home was a great place to stay. Close to town but feels like a country home. Huge yard and hot tub was a big plus.
The house was perfect our trip to Fredricksburg. It was just outside of the main st area, which is what we were looking for. The owners were very helpful and communicative. We stayed in Fredricksburg when the wildfires started and the owners stayed in touch with us and were very understanding when we made the decision to evacuate. Thank you!
Perfect for my two teenage grandchildren.
Only downfall was one bedroom was not private at all having the outside door come through that room to get back inside.
We enjoyed the large table in the family room playing games. My grown kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great fitepit too!
We loved this property, it was the perfect fit and Andrea went above and beyond accommodating us. She is very prompt with responses and very pleasant to deal with. The property was close to Fredericksburg and other things we wanted to do but far enough out to be private. The hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed our Christmas there. She also had accommodations for our small pups. Thank you Andrea, you are awesome.
Great place on the outskirts of Fredericksburg. We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Lots of space to spread out and spend time catching up with family. The girls especially enjoyed the hot tub. There was even an owl that flew up by the fire pit. A rare treat for city girls. Our host was great to get back to us very quickly when we had an issue with the hot tub and gave us instructions that resolved the problem. We will be staying here again!
Had a great stay, well stocked house, clean and warm hot tub, close to Fredericksburg. It was comfortable for family of 4 and an additional family of 4 that joined for one night . We also brought the dogs and it was very dog friendly (they included dog beds) . Just note that the property is located on a relatively busy country road. So expect road nose and the need to watch the dogs out front as the front driveway gate doesn’t close shut completely. We made do and had a nice stay but something to be aware of.
Had a great time in the space. Everything you would need for a big group! Loved the backyard, setting up a campfire. And super close into town! Owner was responsive as well. Other than having to pay a fee for our dogs, the only other concern was when we were grabbing sheets from the closet many of them had what seemed like mouse droppings on them. We made do of course and found some sheets protected in bags and used those. Would definitely come again!

Thanks for letting us know about your concerns! We are addressing this immediately.
The house was very close to Main St. in Fredericksburg and about 25 mins from Enchanted Rock. The house was spacious and on a sizeable lot for hanging out at night by the firepit or in the hot tub and looking up at the starry summer sky. Everything was there for cooking all meals. We brought our dogs and there was plenty of space for them to run around and there were toys and beds for them. Just be careful of them getting out to the street out front. All the beds & bedding were clean and comfortable. Great place to stay in Fredericksburg!
Family stayed Friday and Saturday checked in early no problems, cool house full of antiques, fire pit rocks cooked steaks on the gas grill, weather didn’t cooperate spent time in the large room with a nice little wood stove. There’s a 5th room didn’t appear to be ready for anyone to stay in but we didn’t need it and the ad didn’t include it. The location is good for all hill country activities. Owner was responsive to the only question I had.

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Not really worth the money
Pros: Very dog friendly. There's a ton of space for the pups to run around. The location is wonderful if you want to go downtown, Enchanted Rock, and Wildseed. The beds are comfortable. Cons: The house is very old and needs a lot of work. A mouse ran through the living room while all of us were watching tv. So that's not cool. There was a dried cookie left in a nightstand upstairs. That probably doesn't help with the mice. Also, the coffee maker still had a used filter in it. The upstairs bathroom is insanely small (watch your step, but you'll forget in the middle of the night). Just a really rundown poorly laid out house for so many people.
Unfortunately we didn't get to spend very long at the house. We arrived late after a long day of hiking and were grateful for comfy beds to fall into. The house was well stocked, nicely located outside of town but not too far. Highly recommend Texas Sunrise for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
