Laura here, from Columbus, Ohio where I’ve lived for the past 15 years. (Go Bucks!) Prior to living in Ohio, I lived in Eastern North Carolina (Go Pirates!) and Western Pennsylvania (Go Steelers!).
I’ve always LOVED traveling, architecture, and hosting friends from out of town. During the day I work as a program manager at a software company.
Growing up my mom had this dream of running a Bed & Breakfast and she completely sold me on the magic of it. I’m now a new vacation rental host and I couldn’t be happier.
My mom was never able to complete her B&B dream because she had a stroke which left her paralyzed. But I am now able to live out her dream and mine!
My favorite thing about VRBO is being able to help others create memories that last forever!
I love running outside in new places, especially in races - that way I don’t get lost. I just competed in my second triathlon too! During the pandemic, I started building custom furniture. You’ll notice some of my pieces in Bearfoot by the River!
With past jobs, I’ve been able to travel throughout the US and I have been to many other countries with some of my favorites being Portugal, Australia, and Austria.
