Beautiful location right on the Sound. Clean rooms. Recommend bringing your own extra blankets as it is pretty chilly in the house. Bring your own spices, tp and whatever you want to eat and drink. Kayaks and pool noodles available so no need to rent. Host was attentive when we needed things. Close to shops. Will use again Best view ever.

So easy to check in/out. We have stayed all over the outer banks and this locatiin has by far been the best. Convienient location to so many things while still feeling secluded.

The house was fine. What we expected. There is some wear and tear on things and we let the company know. We went early in the season which was nice, but meant the pool was a tad chilly! Thank goodness for the hot tub. I wish it would have told us there were kayaks on the property and I wouldn't have rented any. I think the neighbors had 1 of the houses kayaks because it had our house name on it, but were we rented some it was no big deal. The communication with the host company was very good. I had a personal guy that I could message with any concerns. So far a big negative was the photo shot that we were offered from Surf or Sound as a thank you. We still have not received our pictures we ordered while there and it has been almost 3 months. We loved being able to bring out dog, but realized he is getting a bit too old for all those stairs. He loves coming with us to the beach though and really enjoyed the sound side swimming with us. We had some of the BEST sunsets I think I have ever seen.

family vacation

Lovely home for the family and dogs! Beautiful setting. First floor was musty due to a recent water issue that permeated thoughout the house. Several diningroom chairs were broken upon arrival. Three bedrooms sheets were dirty. Terrible foul smelling sound odaor most of the week. We were told that this was very unusual.
