The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We spent three nights here and visited both hocking hills and Athens during our stay. My wife and I along with our dachshund really enjoyed our stay at this cabin, I would definitely recommend to others to stay here.
Great communication with the host, Lauren, from beginning to end The cabin and the grounds were clean and comfortable, which we were thankful for, because we only left the property once due to the oppressive heat and marauding mosquitoes that week. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again and/or highly recommend it.
Everything we needed was there. Bed was super comfy. Loved the deck and party lights. I got bit many times by something other than that it was awesome!
The cabin was just as described—a perfect romantic retreat with a wonderful porch and hot tub. The weather didn’t cooperate enough for us to enjoy the fire pit, but we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring Ash Cave. The cabin was very clean and had that lovely pine-cabin smell that made it feel especially cozy. The kitchen was also fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We loved being able to get away for the weekend and bring our four-legged baby along with us. It was a relaxing and memorable stay!
The clean towels were still in the dryer. There was no rug in front of the shower when you got out that leave it a little slippery. We would’ve preferred a Keurig coffee pot. And the clean dishes were still in the dishwasher. Our stay was good, but it could’ve been a little better with these details. Nothing major. A pleasant stay.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you had a pleasant stay. We’d like to clarify a few details for you and future guests.
Clean towels are set out in the bedrooms, and any towels left in the dryer are spares that our cleaners couldn’t put away before the cycle finished. A sign by the dryer also explains where to place this clean laundry if you need to use the machines. We do provide laundry soap and everything you need to do laundry.
A clean bath mat hangs on the shower door handle, ready to be placed on the floor, and we’ll add a small note there so its purpose is easier to spot.
We provide whole bean gourmet coffee, a grinder, a drip coffee maker with filters, and a French press, and we think it makes for a great cup. Our cleaners can’t always wait for the dishwasher cycle to finish (same with laundry), so clean dishes are sometimes still inside. We ask guests to start a cycle before checkout so they can be put away.
We appreciate the suggestions and hope to host you again.
Lovely spot. The cabin is new and fresh. Big kitchen you can really cook in if you want to. The back porch is a wonderful place to relax (as long as you have plenty of bug repellent). We had a bit of a problem finding the place even though we used the Google maps pin. If you have the same problem, go a bit further than it says.
Great cabin. Beautiful location and property. We had everything that we needed. Very private and quiet. Hosts were very responsive when messaged. Would definitely recommend!!
The cabin was really lovely, completely surrounded by trees, and we enjoyed relaxing on the large porch and in the hot tub, admiring the nature around us. We also enjoyed the walking trail close to the cabin.
The hot tub temperature was great and we all loved it! We cooked most of the mornings and evenings. The selection of cookware, utensils and plates, etc was perfect. The cabin is very nice and cozy. We will stay here again.
