This house was perfect for our large family! The backyard is great for time around the fire and backyard games. Plenty of seating in the living room and dining room. The kitchen is well stocked. All of the essentials were in the house (towels, laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper). We had so much fun at the lake kayaking, swimming and playing on the inflatables.
The large house was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 8 adults, 6 children (ages 2-14) and dogs. The living room, game room and dining area had plenty of seating and open spacing for family time together. The outdoor space included a gas grill, a fire pit with lots of seating and a yard which allowed space for the kids to play. The lake was scenic and quiet. We made use of the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe. There were life jackets for all sizes. We all enjoyed the lake with the large dock, floating dock, water trampoline and aqua glide. The beach area allowed the little ones to walk right into the water and play, as well as jumping off the dock while exploring the small fish and frogs. We had fun in the golf cart, where we made trips to the waterfront and drove around the camp grounds. There were so many areas to hike and walk our dogs. Nick was helpful and responsive when we had questions. A great family vacation spot!
The house was amazing! Clean, more than enough space for all 8 of us and our dogs! The beach was beautiful, the golf cart was a big hit as was the game room!! By far this was a best experience!
We had a great time at this property! It was very spacious and worked great for our group. There was a great space to eat meals together and a large living room to hang out and play games (in addition to the game room). There were plenty of beds to fit a big group and the bedrooms were a great size.
Wonderful home lots of space for everyone…plenty to do. Host was super helpful answered all questions promptly. The house was clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies. Over all we had a great family thanksgiving. Would stay here again
The property itself is very nice, but the management, cleaning, and maintenance need improvement. The beach area is excellent, with plenty of kayaks, a water slide, trampoline, and a nice shallow area for younger kids. The golf cart is very helpful for getting back and forth, and the house is reasonably spacious.Unfortunately, communication with the host was poor. We messaged multiple times over several months asking to add a day to our reservation and received no response. When the host finally contacted us near check-in, they had missed those messages and there was no longer availability. We also spent a significant part of our first day dealing with issues that should have been caught before arrival: a mouse, a poorly cleaned bathroom, items left in the washer, strong smell in the laundry area, two clogged bathroom sinks, a flat golf-cart tire and an unreliable washing machineA local person did come to address several problems, and we were given another golf cart temporarily, which was appreciated. However, follow-through was inconsistent: some issues required repeat visits, the bathroom was not re-cleaned after we reported it, and we were not told the repaired golf cart was ready until the following morning. The host was out of the country but we could not contact the local person directly for faster support. There is a lot to like here, but the property needs more consistent cleaning, maintenance, communication, and responsive local management.
We were a group of four families with 9 children ages 1.5-14. The house was a great fit giving each family space needed and extra room for everyone to spread out. Highlight was certainly being down at the beach all day and practically having it to ourselves. Coming home and being able to hang out in the backyard and have smores at the firepit was a great way to end the day. We hope to return again next summer!
The property owner nick was amazing and answered any questions we had right away. The property itself was very spacious with a very warm inviting feel. We had fun playing air hockey in the game room and making family meals in the large kitchen. There were plenty of bedrooms so everyone had their own space. The best was the large dining room table where we gathered and created lots of memories. If you are looking for a warm home with plenty of space for everyone look no further.
The host didn’t communicate at all when we had trouble before the reservations. We called and messaged several times but there was no response at all. Property itself was good and golf carts are fun but again no communication was pretty disappointing.

House needs a deep cleaning. AC filters dirty, stove exhaust dirty and greasy, a lot of garbage and dirt underneath couches. Outside grills one had no propane tank the other hardly had enough heat to risk cooking on. Water pressure low we could only take one shower at a time with 8 people. The appliance and supplies were adequate although bring your own beach towels. The nice part is the beach area which the whole family enjoyed. Nick was responsive but I believe they need a property manager to inpect property before new tenants arrive to make sure everything is working and clean.
Overall the house had room for my group of 8 adults, 3 toddlers and dog. The common areas were a bit cramped as was the entrance. The house was mostly clean and well stocked with supplies and kitchen utensils/cookware. The house could use a good deep clean though - vents were all very dusty and kitchen chair cushions were pretty stained. Also the bugs were pretty bad - we were constantly finding ants and mosquitoes all over the house. And we saw mice in the kitchen a few times that kept getting in our food. The grill also only really got warm so we weren’t able to cook on it.The pond was nice although a bit far to walk without the golf cart. It was tricky to share the golf cart with our group too since we had 3 toddlers and it only really fit 2-3 adults. We enjoyed our time with friends, although a few updates to the property would really make it a lovely place to stay!
Had a fantastic time at this property. The interior was clean, spacious, and overall well kept. Everyone had plenty of room, and there were plenty of amenities. Great dining room table for board games. Great seating in the living room. Communication with the owner was spectacular; he responded very quickly with any question we had. There was a small issue with the grill being left open to the elements giving us a bit of a time getting it going (still quite snowy up there this time of year) and the propane tank was empty, requiring us to run down to the store to get a new tank. He immediately responded to help in any way he could. Also had to shovel out some snow out back on the walkway to the grill, but that's New Hampshire winters for you.
Overall, I cannot recommend this property enough. We definitely will want to come back here. Anyone looking for a great, spacious, and secluded getaway with a great communicating owner should look no further. This place is fantastic.
My family loved our stay here. It was perfect for our large group to enjoy one another’s company while in town for a wedding. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to stay out of one another’s way and lots of spaces for us to gather and have fun. Definitely recommend this property and any other from this owner.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great for our large family vacation. 9 adults, 3 children (5, 1 1/2, 1) and a 9 month old golden retriever. Although it was late September we used the golf cart every day and trekked down to the pond. We used the kayaks, row boats, and paddle boards, and even enjoyed some catch and release off the dock. The swim area inside of the docks was a perfect place to let my 5 year old granddaughter kayak on her own. We enjoyed using the sand toys too.
The house has a great layout and we were easily able to put the littles to bed while the adults stayed up to play games or just hang out in the huge living room. There was plenty of seating available. We also loved hanging out around the fire in the back yard.
I spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing favorite meals for the family. Plenty of plates, flatware, and knives. While there are also an abundance of cups and bowls, the drinkware is all very small and the bowls quite shallow and not conducive to soups or stews. That being said, it certainly wasn’t any kind of dealbreaker just meant getting a lot of refills!
We had a minor issue with the ice maker and Nick was very responsive and sent Russ the property manager right away. They were a pleasure to work with.
We would recommend this property in a heartbeat and will likely book again in the future!
We stayed at the end of July and had a fantastic time! The host was very responsive and we had all questions answered very fast! On the surface the house seemed very clean but could use a deep clean.
Inside of the house was perfectly updated and met all of our needs. The curb appeal is a little lacking and the picture on the posting doesn’t really give an accurate representation but I wouldn’t discourage anyone based on that. A railing on the front porch should be installed and if you come with small children you should be careful.
The house is part of an old church camp and the buildings from that are a little spooky, some of the more adventurous folks in our group loved exploring and making up ghost stories which was fun.
The beach was absolutely amazing, almost totally private and our children spent all day there and we all had a blast using the golf cart to get back and forth.
Overall absolutely worth it and we all loved staying here!
