Amazing place for a get away with family and friends. We enjoyed the secluded property and massive living space. Paula was prompt on responding my text. I would strongly recommend this property if you want to chill with your friends and family outside of big city's busy life.

Great location for our family outing. Plenty of room for everyone and a nice deck for relaxing outside. Easy ride to the Kickapoo River as well as surrounding towns for a little bumming.

Most everything was amazing but the washer and dryer were broken and unusable and we had no idea until we were on site, which was difficult with 13 people. Otherwise fantastic!

Wow! What an incredible place! Very large, very nice inside and out. Just try and count all the beds and living rooms! We were a group of eight motorcyclists and the house worked out very well. Would also be great for a large family reunion.A note to motorcyclists: There is a long gravel driveway with a steep drop/rise to the paved highway. Not a big problem just caution is advised.

The property was beautiful. The house had a lot of character and room for our large group to stay together in one location. The home was well stocked for our group and there were notes with directions that we appreciated. A slight downside was that the kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. We had young children that crawled there while we unloaded vehicles and their little hands and clothes became quite dirty. However, we did a quick floor clean up and we were good to go!

Twelve guys on our annual motorcycle trip. Excellent facilities, beautiful setting, and great riding in the area. Awesome porch with a gas grill and plenty of chairs. We were all impressed with this property and would absolutely book it again in the future.

Great space for our group. Easy to find and get in. The group felt like the grill needed cleaning, more bath products are needed particularly in master bathroom and it would be nice if toilet paper had more plies. Would recommend to friends or family staying in the area in the future.

Overall, it was good. One burner on stove did not work. A few lightbulbs were burned out.The gas grill did not work the first time we wanted to use it, but the owner brought in a different one the next day for our use for the rest of our stay. The large deck was shaded from the sun, and a pleasant place to gather. However, some of the deck chairs need repair or replacement. The front yard along the driveway would have been a great place for the kids to play outdoor games, but 6-8 black angus escaped from inside the wire fence along the the driveway daily, and relieved themselves on the lawn. It was entertaining for the kids but eliminated the desire to play in that area, which was dis appointing. We road on the nearby bike trails, tubed down the Kickapoo River, and hiked in Wildcat State Park, which was all great, and the kids had a great time.

Thank you for leaving the house in such great shape. I apologize for the neighbor's calves getting out. My husband found the hole in the fence and fixed it for the absentee Amish neighbor. They don't have phones, so its difficult to contact someone who doesn't live nearby. The grandkids built a huge fort with the twin bed mattresses, sheets and blankets in

We stayed here for a family reunion and it was mostly really good. The kitchen was nice and large for how many people were cooking and prepping at a time. I do wish there had been a dishwasher to speed clean up, but it was fine. The decor was really nice and I loved all the themes the different rooms had. The kids really loved the dog room. A few of the beds were a bit too firm, but that is a personal preference. We really appreciated the grill, deck and fire pit. I really liked how it felt so out of the way, but we only 15 minutes from town. Sadly, the internet seemed to be on the fritz and we couldn't get online and this caused a delay in communication with the host and I missed a warning about some plumbing issues that happened later in the night. Thankfully my brother had a Starlink setup and we could connect that way. That might have been the most concerning thing, so I hope the owners are able to the internet a bi more reliable.Despite some of the hiccups, it was a very good stay and everyone had a good time. It was pretty hard to find a large enough place for our big family, and this place really fit the bill. The host was really nice and quick to answer any questions I had.

Lovely Stay

We had a great time at Paula's house! Lots of room for our large group consisting of 4 families. Paula was very quick to respond to any questions either through the app or directly via text. Loved canoeing in the Kickapoo River and hiking in the state park. Found a great bowling alley in Tomah for a rainy night. Would recommend! Thanks, Paula.

Quiet farmhouse, good for large group

House can accommodate large groups both indoors and out. Our group of 16 adults and 3 dogs enjoyed the location and privacy. We did not have internet at all during our stay. Also, we needed to pick up our own shampoos. A short drive to a lot of fun outdoor activities.

Family getaway

We booked this property for about ten people. We were delighted with the rural area and the steers feeding nearby. The house was perfect for our needs. We were delighted there was a high chair for the toddler - if it was in the description, we missed it. There was plenty of room for us to hang out and have separate spaces. If coming to the area again, we would definitely return!

This property has it all for a comfortable weekend getaway. We enjoying walking the grounds, exploring the surrounding areas and biking the Sparta-Eloy trail. We found a cute pond to fish at the end of the drive and other ponds/lakes in the area to fish as well. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch and listening to the rain storms rolling in. We also got to catch an amazing sunset with nothing but rolling hills for miles. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could need for utensils, and the living spaces connected in a way that everyone could sit and still talk with each other. Thank you Paula for sharing this gem!

Christmas

Spacious and comfortable. Plenty of cooking tools. Some complaints about hardness of bed mattresses. Annoying bugs in kitchen area particularly. Nice scenery, WiFi was very sketchy. Overall it was a wonderful Christmas celebration for my family.

The guests left the house in very good condition and followed the house rules. This is the first time that guests have mentioned uncomfortable beds. They had a very large group, so it's possible that some guests used the extra futon pads on the floor. We are in a rural setting where Asian beetles and box elder bugs infiltrate inside despite extermination efforts. The house is by no means crawling with bugs. This is also the first complaint that I have ever had regarding these common pests. The internet is not the best. The house is seto in a deep valley and the internet signal is sent to the house by a very expensive bridge system. The dish is at the top of the driveway and uses solar panels for power. It was foggy with no sun for several days until Saturday afternoon when the sun was finally out. With lots of guests all using phones at once, perhaps the system couldn't keep up. I'm glad to hear that they had time to spend with loved ones during their holiday get together.

Beautiful property and stunning views

Our family and friends rented the house for the purpose of going to cranberry fest. It was a forty five minute drive one way but a beautiful drive. We could n’t of asked for more beautiful weather. We also celebrated my nephews 40th birthday and my brother and sister in law’s wedding anniversary that weekend. Sleeping was great .The beds were very comfortable. No one complained about anything except that there was no dishwasher., but we all took turns . Will definitely return. Thank you Paula . We all had a blast.😊

Peaceful Getaway

We stayed for a week at New Haven manor and enjoyed every minute. The house is set back about a 1/4 mile from the road making it a very quiet and private property. We were delighted to be able to see the mother cows and their calves and missed them when they were moved to another pasture! The kids and adults alike ( 10 of us) enjoyed the front deck and lawn and loved the fire pit where we watched the night sky. Paula was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed including a delivery of firewood after we ran out. Communication with her was very prompt and clear, before, during and after our stay. If you are looking for a laid back stay amongst rolling hills, Amish farms and quiet country roads, you’ll love New Haven Manor.
