This cabin was so charming and was the perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway. Lovely touches were the record player, decor and no tv. The old guest book was really cool, too. A bit pricey, but considering a hotel room these days is nearing the same, you get much more here (especially that view) than a hotel room.

Amazing and relaxing

The cottage was perfect for my friend and I who wanted a relaxing location to just unwind, destress and catch up. Perfect setting with the wild life, and calmness of the lake. The cottage had the perfect vintage touches and the space was well thought out down to the finishing touches. Absolutely loved it and plan to return. The entire process was easy and was obvious the owners take pride in the cottage.

Great little getaway

Peaceful property on a very small lake with cute decor and use of row boat. We had a nice time. The only unexpected points were notice posted in the house regarding highly territorial neighbor next door which was a bit intimidating and the property does not have a TV/any device for streaming which didn't occur to us to ask. Overall would recommend for a couple or very small group.

Thank you! The lot lines are not obvious so we try to be respectful by reminding renters to stay on our property. We like taking a break from screens to enjoy nature at the cottage and hope future guests do too.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
This was an utter disappointment of an experience, incredibly dirty throughout, with heavy stains on pretty much all the furniture. Rodent feces, old trash left behind, and a strong Raid smell. There was a large hole in the floor in the primary entry way. The owner is friendly and issued a refund, but our weekend escape was ruined. Charging nearly 500/night for this is outrageous.
Mouse Feces found on the bed
More mouse feces found under the covers.
Trash was completely full with noticeable food remnants.
Incredibly dirty windows throughout the entire residence.

Beautiful home and fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous lake home - it is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. The lake out back was so peaceful and enjoyable for our family. Anne was a wonderful hostess and we can’t wait to return!
