Top Floor, Sun-drenched One Bedroom/One and One-Half Bath Condo with Awesome Mountain and Snake River Views

The southern views through the 2-story wall of windows doesn’t get much better. Sunshine abounds all day from dawn to dusk. The unit sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa. Burned some energy slicing up the mountain? No worries. After skiing, sink into an Italian leather loveseat with dual power recliners and catch a catnap or watch your favorite show on the wide-screen smart LG TV. And when night comes, sleep comfortably on either a luxurious Sealy Hybrid mattress or the Laz-Y-Boy pull out queen with memory foam.

Amenities are plentiful: free Wi-Fi, Xfinity CATV with HBO and streaming apps, gas fireplace, remote control power window shades, elevator, heated garage, coin laundry, ice machine, and a ski locker. The shuttle bus picks you up right outside the building and can take you anywhere in the resort. There is even a heated shelter to relax in while you wait.

The Mall Condominiums are conveniently located in the Lakeside Village area of Keystone. The Keystone Conference Center, shops, restaurants, and activities are just steps away. Keystone Lake is located at the center of the village, offering spectacular water and mountain views as well as activities. Rent a paddle boat in the summer or ice skate in the winter! Fishing is available right out the front door on Snake River. You also have access to Keystone Lodge & Spa next door that features a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and fitness facilities.

The condo recently underwent a major renovation and has a new full-size kitchen, new flooring and paint, a skier prep area and a new luxury shower. A half bath was added in the upstairs bedroom for additional convenience.

I’m sure this space is fine in the winter but the lack of air conditioning and a loft bedroom made for a miserable stay. Also the full bath being on the first floor and the bedroom on the second was odd and somewhat inconvenient.

Very much enjoyed our summer vacation getaway at Keystone. Property was super quiet, check in was smooth, and access to walking/hiking trails was convenient. What make the difference, though, was the communication from the property management before and during the stay. It made the entire process so straightforward and we really appreciated that! Would stay here again.

Great location to resort and ski area. Parking area was very convenient and helpful as well. The loft at1430 was very clean and comfortable. The only negative would be the bedroom upstairs with no bathroom, which makes getting ready or using the bathroom a little difficult. But overall, it was a great experience and appreciate the stay!

Great location, loved taking river walks and exploring the plaza. Gorgeous spot and very comfortable. Also clean! My only complaint is that it does seem to get very hot throughout the day. Opening the windows helped a bunch but a big fan in the common space would be nice. I could see it getting super hot in there peak summer time. Maybe there was an AC unit but I didn't see one. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

However, there is no air conditioning and for some weird reason the owners have screwed shut ALL the windows on the main level! The two windows in the upstairs bedroom open, but they are right on the easily accessible rooftop. As a woman staying there alone, you would never want to sleep with the windows open! And even if you were there with other people, you could never leave the windows open because someone could so easily break in. Why the owners would do make the main floor windows inoperable is really unexplainable.

In July - it was muggy and hot and I didn’t sleep well because of this. They supplied fans , one didn’t work. Who wants to sleep with a fan in your face? You had to go to some place a mile down the road to get your key and also respond with email and signed rental agreement in addition to booking it with air bnb , the whole thing was annoying.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was absolutely beautiful and had some beautiful views, it was easy to locate and the reserved parking was heated and inside a huge shared garage which was a nice surprise. Another surprise that was not so nice was how extremely hot it was in the unit when we arrived at midnight. the unit was 84 degrees down stairs and 90 degrees upstairs where the bedroom is. There was one box fan upstairs, this definitely saved us as there is no way we would have been able to sleep with just the (useless ceiling fan. ALL the heaters were dialed to 80 degrees when we arrived and opening the windows downstairs when you are sweating proved to be difficult and there was no instructions, pro tip you open then from the other end of where you unlock and where most other windows will open, if the window only opens a crack it's the wrong side. I did email the management company and was responded to with a smart *** remark saying "This unit does not have an AC unit, hence why the temperature does not change when the thermostat is." That was a direct sentence that doesn't even make sense, but I guess Maria was trying to make me feel dumb with her hence. I was also told by her that there were fans in every room and there was not. I let them know that and no additional fans were ever dropped off nor did anyone from the management company come to the unit to check on things.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
