Good place to stay for the money. I threw a few suggestions out to help with comfort but was well worth it for our large group. A texting option might be nice for communication.
The place has plenty of room for trailers and snowmobiles which was awesome for us. It's a good distance from town without being too far, and we loved being right on trail 7.

Cabin in the woods was a convenient location for our stay. The boys loved the pool table in the basement!
Great house, close to the trail, lots of room inside, trailer parking is a little rough for longer trailers but manageable. Will definitely book again.
Cabin was a perfect for our snowmobile getaway! Trail was 60ft from the driveway and fuel was 1/4 mike down the road. Driveway had ample parking for two 28 foot trailer with trucks attached and a 2 place trailer and truck. Plenty of beds and nice kitchen/living room area.

Our hockey team was passing through on the way to a tournament, so we only stayed one night, but it was the perfect amount of space and fun for 16-18 year olds. Comfortable, clean and spacious.
We were pleasantly surprised by this cozy house in the woods. It was actually nicer in person than in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything we needed. There were 14 in our party but it didn't feel too crowded. The house was clean. The game room in the basement was fun. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place, loved the rustic vibes! Beds were a little rough and the downstairs definitely needs a better baby gate, we were traveling with a 1 yr old. Over all we would stay here again! Loved the general store right down the road!!
We came to trail ride. This property is in a perfect location. We rode to miners castle, Manistique, and Grand Marais and were able to access all the trails needed to get there.
Everything was great. A TV on the Main floor would have been a plus.

Upon arrival I new instantly that this rental would be perfect, from a snowmobiling trail spur next to the driveway and the midway general store a few 100 yards down the road, it felt like paradise for this group of six!!!! For a true up north experience the cabin offered it all, cozy furniture, very clean, a basement with awesome games,a warm welcoming tastefully rustic charming decor along with a great management team!!! Overall I would recommend all to stay here.
5 of came up to go snowmobiling. Great location, right on the trail, right next to gas and grocery store. Awesome place. Melinda and her team are amazing people to work with. Thanks again. Erik

Thanks so much for staying with us! Hope to see you back next year!
My family of 5 and a friend’s family of 4 stayed at the house for a few days. It was a great space for the 9 of us. The kids loved the pool table, air hockey table and foosball. It was about a 20/30 minute drive to all the sightseeing we wanted to do which was also great. I would recommend this house to families, especially families traveling together.
Great stay! Beds were a bit smaller than anticipated but with the general assumption this is typically used as a hunting or snowmobiling cabin we made it work. Cute cabin decor, great back porch and firepit for socializi g. Awesome showers, great water pressure. Living room space could use a wall-mounted TV but mainly because we wanted to share pictures- otherwise we were fine without it (a few guests had mobility issues that prevented us from sharing downstairs). Would be great if it had a dishwasher but "roughing it" by hand-washing added to the charm (lol). Worked perfect for our needs this week! Would stay again!

This cabin was perfect for our large group of snowmobilers. Set up very well to accommodate all of us and right off the trail. We spent most of our time on the trails, but loved having the game room in the evenings. The cabin provided everything we needed and we appreciated being able to get trail passes right down the road at the general store.. we even arrived ten minutes after they closed and they were happy to accommodate. Highly Recommend and everyone in the group said they would stay here again!
This was my first time staying in a cabin in the U.P. This cabin was great for my family. Outside could be a little cleaner and tidier, not because of trash or anything, but because it is surrounded by trees everything seems a bit overgrown and not open. Plus some type of cooling system would've been great as the cabin can get pretty hot inside. But overall the family and I enjoyed it.
P.S. no amount of bug repellent or candles can keep the flies away. The flies there are of something else!!

Reviewer Comments:
The place was decent. It was clean and easy to access. Kitchen was stocked with all tools needed, the sink is comedically shallow. One of the showers was not working which was inconvenient for our group. The layout didn't feel totally comfortable for "hanging out", basement was more cramped than we expected. Otherwise it was fine for what it was. Location was nice for accessing all of our hiking and activities.
