Villa Amarela is an excellent holiday home for demanding and active holidaymakers who want privacy! It offers the comfort of very good hotels, but without restrictions.

It is tastefully and of high quality, is located on a hill and is surrounded by a tropical garden. In the heatable pool and outdoor dining area, several verandas provide pleasant shade. On an area of ​​431 sqm distributed 4 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms with bathroom and terrace, which also serve as a retreat. The villa also has a fifth generally accessible bathroom, a large living / dining room, a spacious kitchen, a household with washing machine and as a highlight a professionally equipped fitness and leisure area. This offers numerous strength and endurance machines, a poolbillard table (tournament dimensions), a tournament kicker, a table tennis table and an electronic dartboard. All living, sleeping and recreation rooms are equipped with satellite TV and WLAN music boxes. The integrated outdoor lighting concept of the terraces and verandas invites you to stay outdoors even after dark. The villa is designed for 8 people, but the number of guests can be extended to 12 persons with an extra bed per bedroom.

The villa is located in a settlement in the fishing and tourist village of Alvor near Portimao. The distance to the city center and beach of Alvor with numerous shops and restaurants is about 3 km. In the immediate vicinity of the villa is a parachute pitch and a golf course. The nearest shop is 550 meters away. From the terrace and the large balcony of the house you have a fantastic view of the mountain range Monchique.

This Villa exceeded my expectations. It looks even better than the photos. We were a family of six ranging from 9 years to 83 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the games room which we used every night and all the adults used the gym. There are so many different seating areas to use wether you want some time together or a few minutes on your own It was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. It had every appliance you could think of and more than enough plates cutlery and glasses. We didnt have a car but was only 5 euros into alvor which is beautiful with plenty of amazing restaurants to go to. I would highy recommend this Villa.

Amazing Stay in Alvor!

Wow, what an amazing time we had in Alvor. There were 6 of us and the house was a great size. The house was perfect and was better than the pictures. Very clean and the kitchen well stocked with essentials for cooking meals as well as a nice welcome basket. Communication with the property representative was seamless and she was always available to answer any questions. Location was great, in a quiet residential area, short walk to a coffee shop and a short drive to the town of Alvor and to the supermarket. Don’t hesitate to book this property, you will be very happy you did!

Perfect Stay

The villa is beautiful, we had a wonderful time, its lovely inside and out, the pool was heated so a real bonus for outside swimming under the stars. Lots of choices for outside eating, and quiet spots to sit and chill with a book. The games room / gym is fantastic, we had so much fun. 2 small supermarkets just a 7 min walk away with a great restruant and 2 bars the same distance. We walked into Alvor most days, about a 25 min walk on a quiet road. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Property, Great Location

We absolutely loved the villa. It is modern, spotlessly clean, secure, perfectly maintained, luxuriously finished (clearly no expense spared on the furnishings and fixtures) and well located just 8 mins drive from Alvor's great restaurants and beach. The basement gym and games room was absolutely incredible and the heated swimming pool was perfect for our Oct visit. The concierge service were outstanding and we cannot thank Maria and Carolina enough for their amazing help and friendly, professional service - first class attention to detail!! We will definitely be returning next year!! This is how villa rental should be run, excellent all round so a big thanks to Sylvia, Maria and Carolina.

Villa was awesome. Could not fault it. Carolina and Maria were really helpful, and offered some really good advice on restaurants, bars, day trips etc. Alvor is a lovely town with some cracking seafood restaurants. Would definitely love to return to the villa one day.

Absolutely fantastic

We had the best holiday. The villa is absolutely beautiful with everything you need. The pool heated was lovely and the gym and games room was used all the time. Thank you so much to Carolina and Maria for making our stay so easy. They are on hand 24/7 if you need them. A new villa is being built next door which is very close but you are not going to be overlooked. We would definitely recommend the villa and Alvor.

Superbe maison avec une gestion au top opérée par Maria et Carolina. Quelques désagréments dûs aux travaux de construction mitoyens mais rapidement atténués grâce à l'intervention de la gestionnaire. Wonderful place!

We stayed in the house with our family of six. The house has everything that we could possibly want: a nice swimming pool, entertainment area in the basement, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioned bedrooms, different areas to sit outside and relax. It's close to plenty of beautiful sights and beaches. Sylvia was very friendly and helpfu during our we whole stay. Highly recommended!

Perfect Christmas holiday with our family

We spent a perfect Christmas week with our family of 7 in Villa Amarela. Villa Amarela was just as described and well equipped. Desde antes de nuestra llegada a la casa ya intuía que nuestra estancia iba a ser maravillosa, puesto que en los días previos a nuestras vacaciones María José y Carolina se preocuparon de los detalles de la entrada y darnos toda la información que necesitásemos. La casa es maravillosa, tal y cómo aparece en las fotos, con habitaciones y baños amplios. Fuimos un grupo de 12 personas, con lo cual es una gran ventaja tener 5 baños. Las camas supletorias son muy cómodas y se acomodan perfectamente en cada habitación. La zona de la piscina es increíble con buenas tumbonas y con la zona de los sofás en la que disfrutamos mucho. El gimnasio y sala de juegos es un extra importante si llevas niños, como era nuestro caso de edades entre los 20 y los 8 años. Tenían de todo, música, televisión y juegos. La zona tranquila con supermercados muy cerca y el clima estupendo y las playas fantásticas. Y ya para terminar reitero mi agradecimiento a María José que fue súper amable y pendiente a todas horas de cualquier necesidad que tuviésemos, aconsejándonos a todo lo que preguntaba. Esperamos poder volver muy pronto.

Beautiful home

The home was wonderful for our family of 4. It was clean and beautiful with lots of space. Maria was so helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. We enjoyed the large play room filled with workout equipment, a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table. The swimming pool was a bit a chilly since it is not heated (we were there in early June). All of the beds are twin beds (pushed together to make a king if needed) this was not very comfortable so it would have been nice if there was a topper option to make it more comfortable for couples. But other than that all was perfect.

Absolutely Amazing!

This villa was absolutely perfect for my stay. I held a Fitness Retreat at this location and brought 8 girls along with me. Between the time I booked this villa to the end of my stay I had constant contact with Sylvia and Maria to answer all of my questions with no more than 24 hours for a single response. The staff have been amazing help and have assisted me with all of my needs and more. When I arrived Maria explained everything in full detail and was available 24/7 for any questions I had. The villa itself is absolutely stunning with very spacious and modern rooms. Each TV has Netflix which was perfect for the evening. It was also equipped with literally everything you can think of including in the kitchen. Extra towels were provided for the gym and more for the pool which was really good. It is located in a quite family area and has great places to go for a long walk. It is definitely worth hiring a car as we had to travel to the local shop everyday for the groceries and the walk is too far. Also the beach is only 10 minutes away in a car journey but around 45 minutes to walk to. There is nothing bad at all I could say about this villa and I will 100% be using this again for my next fitness retreat.

Beautiful villa in a quiet location. There were 6 adults and 2 children in our party, never felt cramped or that we were on top of each other. Very spacious, modern and clean. Bit far out to walk into Alvor, If you don’t hire a car download the Uber app as we found this to be the cheapest and most convenient way to travel. There is a small shop within a few minutes walk which has milk, fresh bread and a few groceries. Maria was very helpful and always on the other end of the phone if needed. Building work is going on next door and 3 mornings out of 7 they started between 7 and 7.30. Can get a bit noisy but not a lot you can do about it.
