Absolutely beautiful property with fun animals and short drive directly into Fredericksburg. Hosts provided very clear and detailed overview of the property and checkout process. Would definitely stay here again.
The back bedroom with the largest bed was not comfortable and we sunk into the middle of the bed on the first night. We decided to flip the mattress thinking it was the problem and realize the bed was assembled wrong. We had the instructions from the website of the manufacturer and completely disassembled the bed and put it back together. Improved 100% after this.
There is a problem with the hot water in the kitchen, back bathroom. Not so much in the side bathroom.
There were times when the hot water was fine but it would go out completely in others, but one would work while the other wouldn't I have used the on demand water heaters and it should be better than this.
There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms as well as one extra roll of paper towels. No aluminum foil, not enough body wash, no dishwasher soap, no hot pads to take items from the oven. Need to purchase a collander/strainer.
Disappointed in this as we could have bought this in advance if we were told that was all we were getting. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and there were enough of these items to last the entire stay.
Ants were in the kitchen area and were getting in the food, had to purchase indoor ant bait.
It was easy to fan out and see lots of different things in the Hill Country. The ability to hand feed longhorns was awesome! Clean, quite, and fun! What else could you ask for?
It was perfect for our family. The Texas themed house is great. Beautiful setting overlooking a small vineyard. Several Longhorn steers greeted us each morning. The baby goats, mini horse and cats wete a big hit with the grandson! The sunsets wete wonderful amidst the quiet of the countryside. The hosts were perfec, making sure all was well while not being intrusive. Would definitely come back and also recommend to friends
