Worst experience ever
We’ve stayed at VRBOs all over. We’ve had excellent luck with our stays however this one was awful. Decided on a staycation for our anniversary and booked local. Made our way downtown and the place does not look like the photos. The photos make it look much larger. AC was broken and it was almost 80 inside at 6pm. No windows to open to let air in. Contacted Vacasa and was told it would take up to the next day to address our issues so we packed up after paying for a full day of parking and went home, thankfully we live 10 minutes from it. No way we could sleep with it being 80. (First world problems I know). Called them the next morning and was told no one had reviewed our ticket. We contacted VRBO and they were trying to get up with the local team to no luck. VRBO was amazing. Offered up emergency lodging and were very helpful. Our stay was for 3 nights and we were finally contacted on the day we were supposed to check out. This was after I contacted them multiple times with little to no action being taken. She was very helpful and informed us they would be requesting a refund. That is still pending. The place is ok. Not the best but location is good. Not much room either so if you’re just sleeping there it would be ok. Not much water pressure either but that was only for washing my hands when we arrived and then left. Not sure how the bed sleeps. It was clean but it’s definitely an older place. No windows at all.

The Perfect Getaway
This condo was absolutely perfect for our stay in Wilmington! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal - right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and attractions. We loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the city. The host was also very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Wilmington!

Top Spot Downtown
I was working in Wilmington for a week and really enjoyed staying here, right downtown but far enough away from the frenetic activity. Having the space and amenities to cook was most welcome, as most restaurants downtown are either high end expensive or your standard dodgy dive pubs. Lovely bedroom and a thoroughly pleasant stay 👍

Stressful stay
We booked this stay for a family wedding. The location is very close to several restaurants downtown but parking can be a struggle and adds at a minimum $24 to your stay. When we arrive at 4pm which is the check in time, there was a plumber in working in the bathroom. We were in a rush to make a rehearsal dinner and did not anticipate the inconvenience. The plumber kindly stepped out of the unit so I could change and then came back to fix the toilet. Late that evening we received a text saying our unit was unavailable and we would be moved to a new place. This was a HUGE inconvenience to us as we had to leave celebrating with our friends and family to figure out how we were going to move all of our clothes/items in the dark downtown Wilmington to a new place. We called the representatives and they said all that could be done to compensate us for this mess was a $75 refund (which we have not received yet). Once we got to the unit to move our belongings, the sweet plumber was still there and thankful fixed the problem. He said he didn’t want us to have to move in the middle of the night and knew we were staying in the area for a special occasion. I do not recommend staying with this property management group because of the way they handled the situation and their lack of concern for ruining our first night of our trip.
