About this property

Santorini Cave Style Cottage with Fenced-in Yard

Inspired by our trip to Santorini island, the cottage is decorated after the cave houses on the Greece Island. The distinct blue and white bring the Santorini style to your stay. The cottage has a fenced-in yard with a dome gazebo. It is a welcoming place for a traveling family of two, or add two small kids and their furry friends.

The cottage features
1. A master bedroom on the 1st floor with a king bed and a full bathroom inside.
2. An attic on the 2nd floor with 2 twin beds, this space is intended for two small kids due to the height of the ceiling. A full bathroom is on the 1st floor living room.
3. Kitchen and living room with a full bath on the 1st floor. A futon can be put down as a bed.
Note: To ensure you have the best stay experience, we have a maximum 3 adults limit, with kids, you can have 5 persons.

Enjoy the short commute to everything: 10 minutes to UNC Chapel Hill, 18 minutes to Duke University, 25 minutes to RDU airport. Restaurants and shopping centers are minutes away.

Absolutely loved our stay! The location is super convenient to everything, but still very private and serene. We were visited by deer multiple times. The house well appointed and comfortable. Our host was friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. The pizza place they recommended was fantastic! We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for visiting UNC Chapel Hill. House is immaculately clean, well supplied. Quiet, wooded location, yet close to the campus and Franklin Street. Better option than a hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is super cute and as described. The hosts had great communication and we knew we could get hold of them at any time. Definitely follow their directions for arrival as the GPS will not get you there. We did figure that out and found the place right away. It really is in a small wooded area so expect bugs as that is the location. That didn't matter at all to us because it was secluded and exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this gem with us!

Lovely home on gorgeous property

We reserved the Santorini cottage but the owners asked us to upgrade to the sprawling 4BR 4BA home. It was lovely! The land is so peaceful and the condition of the house was perfect. Very well-equipped kitchen. I can only assume that the smaller cottage was as nice as the big home on the same land. Both had fenced yards for dogs which our dog thoroughly enjoyed.

Wonderful Stay

I used this place to recover from transplant surgery since I live 4 hours away. This cute little house was perfect for us. The only criticism I could relay is that there could have been extra towels, there was only 2 towels in each bathroom (half of a set) so basically a full set split between 2 bathrooms. But other than that It was great. The surrounding area was very quiet and relaxing. Fenced in yard was excellent.
