Vacation home has 7 bdrm 4 bath, extra large kitchen with 2 dishwashers and open concept. Entertainment room has air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, pool table and 2 arcade machines for family fun. Rear of house has tons of floor to ceiling windows to take in the beautiful lake and nature views. Sunroom and rear deck provide sanctuary for quiet spaces to read and enjoy your vacation. Wildlife seen frequently on back of property include abundant deer, fox and varieties of birds. Home features 3 marble large walk-in showers as well as other luxury appointments. Land between the lakes park, nature trails and boat rentals nearby at Lake Barkley State Park Resort. Gas and smoker barbeque grills available at property.

Great house for family reunion of 13 adults. There was enough space to give everyone the privacy they needed while still enjoying each other's company. David was a good host and responded quickly to any questions before and during our stay.

Wonderful Family Gathering

Beautiful House, plenty of room, plenty of parking. Wonderful game room, which most of our time was spent, if we were not on the lake. Nice outside seating. Coffee time was spent there in the mornings. I would certainly stay again. We all loved it.

Great stay

We had a wedding on this property. Overall the house provided us with all our needs. Plenty of room and activities inside the house. Great communication with the owners they were very helpful through the process. If you are going to have several cars at the property I suggest setting up a car pool or other parking arrangements. We will forever remember this house it was beautifully decorated and enjoyed our stay!

First ever family trip

Very happy with the property. Fit our needs for 20 people perfectly. The game room was especially a hit with the teens and your children. Lots of room for everyone to do their own thing. Our age range was from 6 mo. to 78 y/o and this home suited everyone. Thank you so much for sharing it!

The house was nothing short of amazing for a group of 21. The house common areas are all open so, people could have separate discussions, play cards, play games and still felt like everyone was together. The game room was the most popular place to hang out. Even though there were no kids all of us Adults really enjoyed the game room. The size and layout of the kitchen made it easy to prepare all meals but sitting together was not possible but again the kitchen table and dinning room table were not that far away. We all enjoyed the house and we have already booked 2023 so we can all get together again.

Multi-Generational Family Vacation Spot

With seven bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, this property really worked well for our family! The well-appointed kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and eating as a family. There was plenty of seating at the kitchen and dining room tables and nearby countertop bar seats. The property included two side-by-side large refrigerators, as well as a chest freezer. Very nice laundry room with plenty of space and up-to-date washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable, plenty of parking, nice outdoor furniture and fire pit. The game room was amazing and had activities for everyone, regardless of their age! David was very prompt to answer any questions that came up for us. Overall, it was a great week and we highly recommend this property.

Spacious and fun

Huge house with room for 18 comfortably! Places this big are hard to find for our entire family. Everyone agreed - comfortable beds, luxurious/huge marble showers in three bathrooms (two were double heads) and the gameroom was enjoyed by all! Lake access and veiw was limited (but that was known prior), we were able to tie up our fishing boat on property. We enjoyed the kayaks, inflatables and sprinkler. There was an issue with the stove and ice maker, but David was very communicative with this and allowed us to purchase an electric double burner stove top and had a counter top ice maker as work-arounds for both. Overall, 4.5 stars - great place to host our family!

A Beautiful Mess

The home is gorgeous and spacious! Cleanliness was below standard-cobwebs everywhere, needed dusting, floors were not swept, and had not been swept under couches and furniture, which could be seen by other seats in the area. There were some comments in other reviews about broken globes on light fixtures, burnt out bulbs, etc those had not been fixed or replaced. Of the 7 bedrooms only 4 have doors- so no privacy. Was concerned when I stepped out of the shower(in the upstairs bathroom) and could see my sister waving at me through the reflection in the mirror, from the bunk room windows!! As we were with more than just immediate family this was very concerning! Need curtains in that bathroom!! The home was well equipped with bedding, kitchen needs, and games, had a blast with my family. Tons of places to group and visit. Games room was a huge hit!

We really enjoyed your beautiful home, the lake and precious wildlife . We grilled and played games and really relaxed and laughed a lot ! We enjoyed a meal at Patti’s settlement one day . We would definitely recommend this property .Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us !The worst thing for us was Georgia won in overtime against our Tennessee Vol football team , but… we really feel good about our season . There were 7 of us on the getaway. The 2 refrigerators were not clean, the cabinet in the kitchen, where the trash cans were kept, was nasty. There were lots of cigarette butts in a concrete planter by the front door, the coffee pot had not been cleaned, there was a lot of dust, but the sheets and towels were clean. I have communicated with the owner and he is aware of the issues.

Great family vacation

Our stay at the Italian lodge was wonderful. There were 6 adults and 8 children ranging from 5 to 15. Lots of wonderful memories were made. There was plenty of space for the whole group and the game room was a huge hit with all my grandkids & my adult children! David was a great host & very responsive.

I can not say enough about this property and the host. David was very easy and responsive to talk with. He made sure we had everything we needed and knew all the "rules" of the house. We had our family reunion here and everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the venue. It was large enough to house most of our out of town guests and had great amenities. The kids loved the game room and garage for playing in. The house was mostly clean with it being as large as it is I can understand the cleaning crew can only do so much so maybe picking a room to "deep" clean once a month would easily do the trick. I and my family are hoping to rent again next year.

Great place for our group

Had a couple, 3 men and 4 youth between 13 and 18. Leaves enough beds and even had enough dining room chairs for everyone! (We do our own cooking, one seems to be king of the grill while another can go to the fridge and panty and come up with a gourmet meal from scratch).. Enjoyable time.

Good place for large families

We loved the house, and it was ample in size to accommodate 11 of us. The home is in need of some repair, particularly on the back deck, and the floor exiting the house. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. As far as cleanliness goes the outside living areas, definitely need to be cleaned but the counters and furniture inside what is clean. Although there are supposed to be access in the backyard to the lake, there were so many fallen trees that we couldn’t enter the water there. The bathroom situation is a little bit funky there were two jack and Jill bathrooms. One bedroom had a commode in it and then there was a bathroom that three bedroom shared, which was also the only one on the ground level where the kitchen and living room are. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves on this vacation.
