Inside the Big Canoe rental, follow the hardwood floors into the living room that boasts a stacked stone, wood-burning fireplace, plush seating, and a TV. You can sip local wine with a crackling fire, watch DVDs or Netflix anytime, and chat with loved ones about your fun day downtown. Step onto the screened-in deck to take in the tree-studded views with peeks of the golf course or enjoy a meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen at the outdoor table.

Between meals at the indoor dining table, you can clear the space to make arts and crafts, play board or card games from home, or set up for homeschool. Dark and uninviting. Not very clean. Supplies in kitchen-some ok but some was junk. Ok for making toast and coffee but not a meal. Add some colorful decor. Missing fire extinguisher, first aide kit, etc. Was visiting family. Not spending too much time in unit. I will be looking for another “owner” next Thanksgiving week. AND leave instructions for TV …
