About this property

The Sutton getaway w/ pool and private backyard.

A family friendly home with a great outdoor space and private pool. Located in the center of Wilmington, just a short distance from the beaches or historic downtown. Fur babies welcome, Lyla the cat lives here full time, and we ask to please open a provided fresh can of food for her daily.
As we are pet friendly, but PLEASE DO NOT allow dogs in the pool. The hair gets in the pump, and without the knowledge of how to clean it, it will ruin the pump and leave you without a pool.

Great house for a quiet relaxing vacation. Pool was nice size and we enjoyed it everyday. Puppies enjoyed the fenced in backyard for running around and wearing themselves out. Would definitely consider renting again.

We loved the atmosphere of Sutton Place. We were comfortable, close to everything that we wanted to see and do, swam in the pool (which was wonderful), and enjoyed the art of the owner! Loved it. 5 stars.

We loved our stay, it was perfect for our group of adult humans and older dogs. The neighborhood was quiet and the outdoor/pool area was peaceful and relaxing. The house was comfortable and felt like a home more than a rental. And the location was great for trips into Wilmington or to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent time away, the place has character, so many fun art pieces and activities to do. The owner was prompt when there was a AC issue, addressed and fixed quickly. This home is lived in but thats what gives it such great charm. Would absolutely stay again.

Backyard oasis

We enjoyed our stay so much that we want to come back next year. We were on our honeymoon and there is so much to do in Wilmington that we didn’t even have time to go to the actual beach. This rental was amazing and the host was very accommodating.

Great escape for the weekend!

My family and I really enjoy this property. It has great entertainment with a pool and a pool table. We enjoy getting visits from Layla, the property cat, as well. We will continue to visit this property.

We enjoyed a fantastic day at this incredibly unusual and vibrant home. For myself and my parents and our two dogs, it was the ideal size. My mother and I loved spending time in the pool, talking, and unwinding; it was the ideal size. The location is ideal for both downtown and Carolina Beach.
