A beautiful, cozy cottage

The cottage is lovely, from its river views and breezy veranda to the roomy kitchen with coffee bar. The rooms are decorated elegantly and the beds are super comfy.

Beautiful home amazing view

This place is absolutely beautiful With amazing Views it is right on the water The last house on the road.. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very spacious, had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and responded immediately with any questions. I highly recommend staying here. We found this place last minute. When our other arrangements fell through and im so happy they did because this was closer and just perfect for our family.

This place is a slice of heaven on earth.water view from main bed! Staying in this home was the most peaceful experiences my husband, our autistic non-verbal son, as well as myself have ever had! If you have little kids, mild supervision needed, to young teens that can and will want to explore, no phones needed!waking up, going outside on our deck, hearing the birds and seeing wild life from fish jumping, the ground hog, then the two otters that come up close to the sea wall in the evenings(there population has made a come back!). The bald eagles that fly beside your vehicle as you come/go, is absolutely one amazing experience you and your family can’t miss. The owners are absolutely fantastic and will respond very quickly. They obtained the homes they rent out a couple of years ago, great historic property! My husband is a stickler dye to his aunt being in a high position for years in Marriott, it passed there test! As she absolutely loved the videos and pictures (that says A LOT)! Just respect the fact the owners have taken a lot of their time to make this place great and have done wonders but they will tell you they have a bit to go until they feel it is just right. If your going for the wild life… it is amazing or just wanting to stay inside, you cannot go wrong here! I would highly suggest speaking to the owners about any concerns or issues asap! As well as any questions about the area to make the most of your trip!We are booking more trips to Windswept Cottages, asap!!!

Relaxing Cottage on the River

Excellent place to stay with beautiful water views. Comfortable beds. Large kitchen open to dining area. Fresh flowers on the table. Numerous special touches with thoughtful details. Great for relaxing and entertaining.
