Patti’s place was a perfect headquarters for our Lassen National Park visit. Plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes drive of the house, and the setting / view behind the house was awesome. Patti was very responsive through VRBO messaging, and we’re glad we stayed at her place!

We were pleased with our stay and the wonderful communication with our hosts, who made us feel welcome in their home. They provided all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for us to explore Lassen Volcanic National Park and Burney Falls State Park. The living room overlooking a field and lake was spacious and a great place to relax after our days of hiking. We very much appreciate the hosts sharing their home with us and highly recommend it if you are planning to visit this area.

Lovely location in front of the meadow and river. Very peaceful. The cabin was so cutely decorated. It was a bit warm with no AC but having the windows open and fans on helped.

Fantastic little hideaway with a great view

Comfortable beds, clean, quaint and unique. We enjoyed staying here. The view of Lake Almanor from the back porch was gorgeous.

Sweet family cabin right on the edge of Chester's Big Meadow reserve. Amazing sunrise views, gorgeous dark skies for stars at night. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking easy.

Great Stay

Awesome cabin that feels very cozy and homey in a lovely little town. Perfect place and house for a little get away with your partner or even the whole family. My partner and I had a lovely weekend and will certainly be back in the near future.

Great Stay for weekend wedding

Perfect house for our family to stay for a lovely weekend wedding of our nephew! Loved the extra touch of having fireplace ready with kindling and newspaper. Beds were all very comfortable!

Sweet cabin by the lake

We had a lovely time this cabin. Close to town, could ride our bikes everywhere, and lovely walks all around. Very relaxing!

Brad only responded to one of my messages, during his stay. I would have preferred a little more communication from him. Also, he left my house unlocked, and did not remove his trash. He left stuff out on my kitchen counter.

Cozy and cute place to stay just 30 minutes from Lassen Park. My Bestie and I used this as a homebase for visiting the park and a day of fishing for trout on Lake Alamanor. After a long day of hiking, it was nice to come back to this little nugget in Chester and sit by the fire pit and relax. The place is adorable, clean and just as is pictured and Patti was super responsive.

Great for exploring Lassen National Park

Great place right on the edge of Chester. Very quiet area with a nice view. Easy to get into town. The purpose of our visit was to explore Lassen, but great proximity to the lake as well. House was clean with spacious bedrooms.
