About this property

This space is in a perfect location! This large, newly renovated house in the historic Union Street district is located on a quiet, dead-end street. We are centrally located in a very walkable environment - 10 minute walk to the MetroNorth train station and waterfront and just a 5 minute walk to downtown Poughkeepsie which is home to restaurants, businesses, and the government center. Although it was fully renovated at the end of 2021, this historic home has maintained much of its original charm and character. All six bedrooms are furnished with upcycled pieces and the kitchen has brand-new appliances. It's a great space to share among a large group, whether it's for business or pleasure!

Great location, lovely spot!

We had a wonderful time at this location, with easy check in and check out. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking- I would recommend bringing extra kitchen towels and toilet paper if you are planning on staying for more than one night. Realistically this house sleeps 10 people in beds.

Wedding Weekend

Gathered at this home for a family wedding weekend. Communication with owner was excellent. Location is close to everything, we walked to the wedding reception site! One suggestion to owner, add in description that there is no 1st floor bedroom or bathroom, which would be good information for elderly or mobile challenged renters.

Great place for extended families!

So many bedrooms, perfect space for multiple families or extended families. Location was fantastic- close to Walkway over the Hudson, Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, and easily accessible to neighboring towns like Fishkill, Beacon, and Cold Spring. House was exactly as described. Dining room table was large enough to seat 9 or 10 comfortably. Bedrooms and bathrooms were on the second and third floors. Very comfortable house to stay in. We also enjoyed walking to the coffee shop and taking chairs to the front porch in the AM. We didn’t need to contact the owners but two cell phone numbers were available if we did need to contact them. I did message them once and received a response right away so if we needed anything, I’m sure they would have responded. Our one concern was that at night, there is traffic noises because the house is near a highway on the back side. The traffic certainly did not keep us awake and would not stop us from staying there again. Just something to note if you are a very light sleeper. Our 3 children slept through the night easily. Overall a fantastic place and we highly recommend. Plenty of space for my family of 5, my parents, and my sister & brother-in-law in exactly the location we were looking for.
