Heron's Hideaway is a beautiful 3 br/2 ba beach house in the heart of Gulf Shores. This house is ideal for those that want a comfortable, laid-back home base in the center of everything with the added amenity of a private heated salt water pool. Surrounded by non-rental homes you can be assured of a peaceful stay as you will not be next to a large party that keeps your family awake at night. Take a morning jog along the Lagoon pathway or visit on the back deck while you watch the kids swim. Take the bikes for a spin. When it's time to hit the beach, it's only a quick walk to the famous sugar white sands of the gulf. Need break from the sun? Let the kids play the full size arcade game with 30 popular games or watch a movie on the large screen TV. Finally, cap off the perfect day with a stroll into town to enjoy dinner and an ice cream. No matter what you like to do during your beach vacation, this house offers it all!

Smoking is not permitted
Up to 2 small dogs only with non refundable pet deposits: $175 for 1st dog and $75 for 2nd dog. Quiet hours after 10PM.
No smoking. No parties. No glitter allowed. Primary renter must be at least 25. Refundable deposit of $250 required.
Guests are required to sign the rental agreement and home door code will not be issued until it is signed.

This was the best vacation we have ever had!
When it comes to traveling with small children it sounds like a headache, we were a bit nervous how it would be;our worries.. busy area, lots of people, toddler proof, sleeping situation, the pool and deck. But they had a gate on the deck, fence around the pool, high chair, comfy large beds to co sleep, a short walk to the beach some days we were the only ones on the beach! This was the best vacation we have ever had. The house was very clean well kept, lots of things available, bikes, yard games and things for the beach! We had everything we needed in one spot. The pool was fantastic for them to swim and warm/cool enough for all to enjoy. We really got to enjoy each other without extra worries! Mom and dad were able to relax and take it all in! We will book again in the future for family vacations! We can’t wait to share with our family and friends!

This house was perfect for our week away!
This house was perfect for our week away. Heron’s Hideaway comfortably accommodated 4 adults, 2 kids and an infant for us! Our 3 and 5 year old boys enjoyed the bunk room and arcade games. The master closet fits a standard pack - we propped the door open and it provided a cozy and quiet space for our baby to sleep. The pool was a huge hit - I think the kids enjoyed it even more than the beach. Having it heated was so nice - the temperature was perfect! It was about a 10 minute walk to the public beach access. The home is close to good restaurants and grocery stores. It was clean and well stocked! We would love to visit again any time.

When we got our own VRBO home, it was important to us to make it a place that we would want to stay and love. We know the effort and expense that goes into finding and choosing a vacation spot, gathering family and traveling to the location. We want our home to always be a place our guests are excited about and glad to arrive at.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Gulf Shores, AL on our first visit. The beaches are some of the best anywhere and we love the quite small town vibe as well. We love this house for its private pool, comfortable back deck to hang out on and its close proximity to the beach and town.
