Rest and Relax

Our stay at this home was lovely! It was peaceful, relaxing and a great location. We brought our e-bikes and enjoyed riding around the area. The walk to the beach was short and it was fabulous to have the chairs and beach bikes available. The pool was great for night swims and we enjoyed the corn hole boards! We would 100% stay there again!!!

This property was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the pool, short walk to beach. The house has everything you can possibly need. From nets to catch crabs, to beach wagons, bikes, boogie boards, cooler, board games and cards can’t think of anything missing. And Jessica is so easy to work with, and the checkin and checkout is a breeze. Would highly recommend this property for your stay in gulf shores

Everything You Need

Our stay at Heron’s Hideaway was everything we had hoped for our trip. The hosts are responsive and supportive and the property is well equipped for anything you may need in your stay. We felt the location was a great mix of quiet and accessible and the closest beach was a great place to spend time and our kids loved it.

Hated to leave!

Check in/out was easy, the house was just as pictured. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach from the house, the heated pool was a big hit with our 8 year old. We made some great memories the only thing I would have changed is an extension of our time there!! Thank you Jessica for being a great host!

Great house for my my wife and me along with our two boys. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minute drive to any great food imaginable. Beautiful outdoor space on the deck along with a really great pool area. We will definitely be back.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home was beautiful and exactly as described. It had an abundance of towels, pillows, and cookware. We appreciated the paper products and travel essentials that were provided. The heated pool was a big hit with the kids especially with the milder temps during our stay. We loved we were within walking distance to the beach. With the location, it was very quiet in our area and lots of room to spread out on the beach. The hosts were great to work with as well. We hope to be able to rent this house again on our next visit to Gulf Shores!

The master closet fits a standard pack - we propped the door open and it provided a cozy and quiet space for our baby to sleep. The pool was a huge hit - I think the kids enjoyed it even more than the beach. Having it heated was so nice - the temperature was perfect! It was about a 10 minute walk to the public beach access. Nice family rental

We had a few hiccups with some things at the property after checking in, but the property manager was very responsive and tried to be helpful whenever possible. Overall, we had a pretty comfortable and nice stay. It's a really nice location very close to everything and to the beaches (just be prepared to pay for parking near beach access, unless you don't mind walking awhile). The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the giant connect four on the deck. The board games were a but weathered, but still nice to have during downtime. The TV in the main room was giant and you can log in to your own streaming service. Wifi worked well. Beds were fairly comfortable (although the master bedroom bed was very noisy with every slight move so take note if you're a light sleeper). Kids loved the bunk beds and that they had a whole room to themselves. The rental was set up really nice. Very good for families.

Outstanding House for Families

This house and the hosts are outstanding. The house was clean, in good condition, and had many amenities that made our stay perfect. The room with bunk beds and arcade game was our kids dream come true (and honestly my husband’s as well because Pac-Man nostalgia!) Both king beds were comfortable and good linens. Bathrooms were great! Enough towels for bathrooms and pool! Kitchen had all the cookware (even a crockpot and two types of coffee maker!) HUGE TV in living room came in handy for the Super Bowl and rainy day. Talk about rainy day, they had many board games and deck of cards on hand. Floaties for the pool, chairs, beach toys, bikes, etc. The hosts thought of everything. In addition to all the well planned and cared for amenities, the hosts did an outstanding job taking care of an unforeseen, random issue at the house. It literally took one call, answered immediately and the hosts went straight to work to resolve the issue that night. I highly recommend this house for your vacation at Gulf Shores!!

We fell in love with Gulf Shores, AL on our first visit. The beaches are some of the best anywhere and we love the quite small town vibe as well. We love this house for its private pool, comfortable back deck to hang out on and its close proximity to the beach and town.
