The beach house was exactly as described!

We loved our stay! The beach house was exactly as described. It was so nice to enjoy the pool, which we used more than going to be beach and then sitting on the deck relaxing in the ocean breeze. We were especially pleased that our dog could join us!! I would definitely book again!

Everything You Need

Our stay at Heron’s Hideaway was everything we had hoped for our trip. The hosts are responsive and supportive and the property is well equipped for anything you may need in your stay. We felt the location was a great mix of quiet and accessible and the closest beach was a great place to spend time and our kids loved it.

Gulf Shores 2025 spring break

The rental had everything that we needed. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you can think of. It was cleaned well. The host checked in upon arrival to make sure we had all we needed. The pool was warm and got used quite a bit. The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk to the beach. We had a relaxing family trip.

So peaceful and relaxing, feels like your own neighborhood! Walk to the beach in no time! Very comfortable home and you’ll want to extend your stay (I did!) So much to do within short distance and the idea of doing this annually only took about two minutes! Don’t miss out, this place is incredible for your soul!

Great Getaway

We enjoyed the location and home. Kids had a great time with the large connect four game on the deck. Was really nice to walk a loop from 12th street beach access, down the beach and then leave beach at 13th street beach access and then back to the rental home. Comfy beds. Pool was nice. Clean!

Hated to leave!

Check in/out was easy, the house was just as pictured. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach from the house, the heated pool was a big hit with our 8 year old. We made some great memories the only thing I would have changed is an extension of our time there!! Thank you Jessica for being a great host!

When we got our own VRBO home, it was important to us to make it a place that we would want to stay and love. We know the effort and expense that goes into finding and choosing a vacation spot, gathering family and traveling to the location. We want our home to always be a place our guests are excited about and glad to arrive at.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Gulf Shores, AL on our first visit. The beaches are some of the best anywhere and we love the quite small town vibe as well. We love this house for its private pool, comfortable back deck to hang out on and its close proximity to the beach and town.
