Stunning 3 bedroom/3 bathroom duplex located directly across from the beach with beautiful inground heated pool. All carpet recently removed, travertine floors installed throughout upstairs and beautiful wood stairs. Downstairs has one bedroom with 2 queen beds, one bath, living, dining and kitchen. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms (one with 2 queen beds & bunk beds (twin over twin)& the master with king bed), 2 baths and laundry area. TVs are in all bedrooms as well as living room. This top of the line unit sleeps 14 (using sleeper sofa) & has a nice large outdoor living area with charcoal grill and heated pool (Nov-March). This property also has a fenced in back yard with privacy fence along with lovely landscaping.

The property was very nice and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was nice and the beach was just across the road. The check in/out routines were really simple. The owners were really nice and helpful and communicated promptly. The only problem we had was that we could only stay a few days. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in the Gulf Shores area. We couldn't have pick a better place to stay. Everything was perfect, from our host to the area-centrally located to everything we wanted to do for 2 weeks. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Kate for making our stay so memorable and perfect.

Easy to book. We received our entry code couple days before our trip began. The unit was just as described. It was nice to have the private pool with plenty of chairs and tables around the pool and a nice dinning area under the deck area out of the sun. The owner was a warm and kind gentleman who lives across the road. He was willing to help with anything that needed attention. Our whole group really liked meeting the owner. That has never happened with any of our VRBO over the years. It was a nice touch. Oh easy beach access directly across the street. Definitely worth it!!

Great beach house with beautiful backyard and pool

Great house that can easily sleep 12 (more with sleeper sofa or air mattress), it's across the street from the beach but has a beautiful backyard and pool. Loved our stay and will be back!

Extended Family Vacation

My sisters and our families stayed this last week and absolutely loved this property. It was spacious for all 11 of us and the hosts were wonderful! They checked in a few times to see how we were, once in person and a few by text. Access to the beach was right across the street and super easy for all the kids to get to. The back yard is very well kept and the whole family enjoyed the amenities! Thank you Mark and Kate for hosting us for our first extended family vacation. We hope to stay with you again soon!

Family vacation

Beautiful house! Just a quick walk across to the beach. Balconies to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. Clean house with ample room and beds. The ice machine was a plus being in the beach! The pool was spacious and clean. Will be fine if back in the future for sure!

Stay at Sea Note

Great property and location. For the most part the stay was great. The rooms were very spacious and we had most everything we could possibly need. The ice machine was very useful. The pool had quite a bit of debris in it when we arrived. A net to skim the pool would have been nice. The wifi was really spotty, in fact it was not working more than it was. I suppose we could have called to ask for assistance but we were in and out most days anyhow. Most alarming was the discovery of 3 cockroaches in the home. Two in the downstairs bedroom and one that found it’s way into the pantry. We realize bugs are more prevalent in the south; but that was really disconcerting and frankly, gross. We have stayed at other properties in Gulf Shores and I really thought this would be at the top of our list. Unfortunately, it fell a little flat for us.

Best of Both Worlds

This last minute booking to a place we have never been turned out better than expected! Place was very clean with the best of both worlds with a beautiful pool in the back yard and easy access to the beach right across the street. We spent most days in our bathing suits all day hitting the beach in the morning before it got too hot, then eating lunch on our nice front deck with a view of the ocean, and hanging out in the pool in the afternoon. We often took a night swim after dinner as well. The fully fenced in back yard with large grass filled area was a bonus for my friends seeing eye dog Lulu. And the easy access off the main floor bedroom was ideal for my friend who is blind to be able to navigate this new environment independently. Each bedroom is very large with its own large bathroom making us feel we had our own suites within the house. We loved the pantry and the ICE MACHINE!! We didn’t cook while we were there but the kitchen seemed to have all the things you would need for making meals (we just didn’t want to work that hard!) We did have neighbors on the other side of the duplex but we found them to be wonderful with very well behaved and sweet kids. We enjoyed getting to know them and appreciated their kindness to us and especially to Lulu. Beds were very comfortable and check in/check out and access into the unit were all easy and accessible to my friend who is blind (some hosts don’t think about that when selecting their door entry solution). Hosts were great!!

Softball and surf

We can golf Shores for a softball tournament and chose to stay at this location because it was only a 20 minute drive to the Gulf Shores sports complex and that was if there was traffic.Kate was so helpful and answering all of my questions check in was so easy. The house was perfect. Had more than enough room for the eight of us. We loved having the private pool, the beach was literally across the street. It took two minutes to get to, and it’s very easy to access.We will be staying at one of her properties every time we come back.

Great House & Location!

This place had great size bedrooms and the pool was a nice addition. Beach access was right across the street and within a 6 minute walk to Waves convenience store and Island Ice Cream! Absolutely had so much fun staying here!

Summer Vacation 2024

This property is awesome! Right across from the beach, which is super convenient and easy. The backyard pool was great and the kids had so much fun swimming. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Also, pet friendly - the back yard is fully fenced and was absolutely perfect for our pups. I would highly recommend this property for a family vacation, and we would definitely book this property again!
