Imagine....40 quiet and peaceful acres with a breathtaking view. Now imagine sitting on a spacious deck or in the hot tub with great friends and/or family. Welcome to Trillium Lodge!

If you are looking for a great place for a large gathering or family reunion, this is your place! Trillium Lodge is located on 40 private acres, only 4 miles from Ohiopyle State Park, with beautiful views overlooking the Yough River Valley and Ohiopyle. It is an ideal setting for a family reunion or for friends looking for a gathering spot since there is plenty of room for the group to spread out.

The main floor includes a great room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. On the lower level is a partial kitchen and game room (great place for kids to entertain themselves). No need to bring any extra dished, pots, pans or any other essentials for your group! All linens and towels are provided.

The view off the deck is spectacular and one of the best in the area. Enjoy it from the hot tub, the rocking chairs on the patio or from the enormous deck off the great room. Don't forget the marshmallows for the bonfire area.

For winter rentals there is a gas fireplace and a wood burning insert. However, wood is not provided. 4 wheel drive vehicles are a must for winter rentals.

Whitewater Rafting, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing and the Great Allegheny Passage Rail Trail are only minutes from Trillium Lodge in Ohiopyle PA. There are activities for families with younger children and older adventure seekers alike!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
The trash needs to be taken down to Ohiopyle and discarded in the dumpster bins located across from Falls City Pub. It helps to do this throughout your stay so it doesn't build. Thank you!

We had a very good time! We stayed here during the winter to go skiing to Seven Springs. Plenty of space for three families. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything necessary. The game room was a blast for the kids. I recommend it!

The house was very clean, which was important to us. We had plenty of bedrooms, though having another bathroom would have been helpful with 11 people. We loved using the fire pit (though we had to buy our own wood) and playing cornhole. This was a great house for a three-generation family gathering.

Peace Corps Reunion

The Trillium Lodge was perfect for our group of 14 active adults. We enjoyed the easy access to hiking and the proximity to Fallingwater. The kitchen, dining room, and great room gave us wonderful places to hangout, swap stories, and enjoy the spectacular views.

Beautiful location!

When we arrived our first evening we were treated to an amazing sunset. The views to the southwest were unobstructed and the sky was all shades of reds and oranges. The location is such a great one for hiking - both in and around Ohiopyle, the GAP trail, and trails within the Bear Run Nature Reserve. The accommodations were perfect for a large family - we enjoyed our time inside and out!

Property was great. Big and open. Tons of space with rooms, kitchen and family room great for gathering. The check in process was a bit chaotic but they were able to move quickly once they found the problem and we got to the property quickly after that. Hope to come back in the future.

Lodge Family Christmas

This was our third year at the Lodge for our family Christmas. With our family spread out between PA and Ohio it has been the perfect place to meet and enjoy family time together. The Lodge is spacious and clean and has everything we need to have the perfect holiday. This year it snowed again which makes it extra magical for our seven grandchildren! Spudy Family

Wedding Celebration

Great lodge. Plenty of room for the party of 40 people to celebrate the marriage of my daughter. We had 20 people staying at the lodge for the weekend. Room to relax without being too crowded. Beautiful grounds. Clean and welcoming. The only thing we recommend is having large garbage cans and a dumpster for garbage. Having to load and drive into Ohiopyle to dump garbage is a slight hassle. Went to dump garbage night before we left and told at dumpster we were not allowed. Not sure if person from the Pub was aware of policy. Overall we had a wonderful weekend.

A room with a view but not much water

That view comes with a price - it's tough to get water up there. Water use has to be staggered to accommodate a large group. However, the lodge was well stocked with kitchen supplies, comfy furniture, & deck tables & chairs. Before arrival, beds were made & towels placed in each room. After some very nice hikes, it was a pleasure to return to the lodge & stay in for dinner. Stargazing was fantastic with no artificial light interference. We happened to catch leaves at peak or nearly so. We were quite happy with the lodge & our stay.

We loved Ohiopyle and Trillium Lodge!

We loved Ohiopyle, the Yough and Fallingwater and Trillium Lodge was the perfect place to stay to access all of it! We have a large extended family with a variety of ages, and it’s hard to find rentals that accommodate all of us. Trillium Lodge was roomy and perfect for our group.

The visit was good. We liked the bedrooms and space. The airconditioning got some of the areas cools but not all. The afternoon sun heating up the living room beyond the comfort level. The basement was very musty smelling. Overall we all enjoyed the time we spent there.

Wonderful family gathering

We had 8 adults and 6 small children and the size of the lodge was perfect with all the dishes, pans, etc we needed. The lawn is large and expansive for children to play, the "game" room allowed for inside activities. The owner graciously allowed us to have some small fireworks for the 4th. The place was very clean! This place is perfect for cool weather and if there is no need for internet. If there are plans to work using internet, this is not for you. You will need a phone hotspot. The router did not work--it isn't slow-fi, but no-wifi, period. The airconditioning is not adequate for the upper floor on very hot days, so we were lucky to have two extra rooms in the basement. Be sure to take time to stargaze! If you are interested in Fallingwater, be sure to make reservations as far ahead as possible.
