Thank you for your feedback, Blake. We take every review seriously and want to address your concerns transparently for future guests. Pool condition: We absolutely acknowledge the pool experienced cloudiness mid-stay during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Our pool company serviced it prior to arrival and again mid-week on Wednesday, which you confirmed in our messages. Unfortunately, extreme heat can challenge water clarity even with proper chemical balance and regular service. Since your stay, we have fully drained the pool, refilled it, and installed a new high-capacity filter — and it has performed perfectly since. We're sorry the timing affected your experience. HVAC: The home is climate-controlled on every level — mini-split units serve the first and second floors, and central HVAC serves the third floor. We're not aware of any units that were non-functional during your stay, and this concern was not raised with us at any point so that we could troubleshoot or adjust remotely, which we are able to do. Plumbing: We were not made aware of any leaks or sewage issues during your stay, nor have prior or subsequent guests reported similar problems. Our septic system was professionally pumped the week before your arrival. We did experience an unusually rainy stretch that week, which can temporarily affect drain field performance in coastal areas — but again, without being notified, we had no opportunity to investigate or resolve anything in real time. Communication: Our message history shows proactive communication from our team throughout your stay, including a same-day personal response regarding the pool concern — the one issue you did bring to our attention. We responded promptly and contacted our pool company immediately. We wish the other concerns had been shared with us during your visit so we could have addressed them on the spot.
