I have been to Galveston at least 15 times but never been this far East on the island... If you haven't stayed on East Beach you are missing out... The property was very clean and had all the things we needed...

Beautiful and relaxing. A great experience!

We enjoyed a lovely stay for a few nights before a cruise. The rental was clean and cozy with amazing views of the gulf coast. Hope to return for another visit next time we cruise from Galveston. Can’t recommend it enough for other couples.

A beautiful view and comfy stay

The view was beautiful. Got glimpses of the effects of the sunset on the clouds. Nice roomy balcony. Rooms were spacy. Only complaint was the sofa. It’s cushions were sinky and the sofa bed was just springs. That said I would stay here again.

Great Location and View . . . Unit Itself Just OK

The location of the property was great, as was the oceanfront view. Pool and hot tub were very nice, and staff were friendly and helpful. Currently, only one of the three elevators at the Galvestonian are working and apparently it's been that way for the past month. This was pretty inconvenient with long waits up and down and did not allow for access to the lower level to walk to the beach. Since my spouse uses a scooter, this was a bit of a problem. Would not recommend the property in general until the situation is corrected. The bed in our unit was very uncomfortable, as was the pull out sleeper sofa, which was disappointing. It would be worth upgrading both for future guests.

We loved the condo and definitely will be back. Only thing we would say is that the lock on the door was very loose and needed to be fixed. Maybe more bath towels and kitchen towels would be small things. But overall was a wonderful weekend and will be back

Place was amazing! Trouble with VTrips Check In

The place was gorgeous, clean, & a great location with wonderful amenities. However, when we arrived, the reservation had been sent to the condos with the wrong identification informations (only my email matched). I wasn’t able to check in without trying to contact Ryson/Vtrips. They were after hours & once I did get ahold of someone they weren’t really able to help. The front desk at the property ended up letting me check in anyways while awaiting a call back from the management company. Which never came. Grateful to the Galvestonian for taking care of me in spite of the mix up. The company did text me the next day… but it was a little late since I would’ve been on the street if it weren’t for the front desk.

Misleading

Nice property, blinds broken, couldn’t see view of ocean. Even after property maintenance came, wrong chain installed, blind worked once and broke again. Plugs in master bedroom wire to light switch. Faucet falling out of kitchen Sink, fridge door not screwed in at bottom, bathroom fan sounds like a dozer running up the wall. Dishes were dirty, but the worst was the bed. Wife and I had to buy a 3” topper and put on bed while there. Be prepared you will be sleeping on the floor bed is so hard.

This unit was wonderful! The decor was coordinated and not overly “beachy” which some places tend to be!! The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you could possibly need! We would definitely stay here again!!

Galveston respit

The Galvestonian is a great place to stay! Close to the beach and the ship channel. Our room was great. The balcony overlooks the beach and you’re close enough to hear the waves and enjoy the views. Nice place to stay and escape the daily grind.

Great getaway

We stayed at this property 25 years ago, so we enjoyed a short getaway here. The upkeep and upgrades through the years are apparent. The beach is not crowded AT ALL this time of year and is easily accessed. Property personnel are SO helpful. All in all, a good experience.

Great place, but with some issues.

The Gavestonian property is great. There were some mechanical issues in the room that should be addressed. Such as a loose faucet, disconnected bed frame, and broken chains you need to close the blinds (i.e. no privacy). But, I'm planning on coming back next year. Hopefully, those things will be corrected by then.

Loved this place

Only problem was that Ryson Mgmt did not notify the Galvestonian that we were coming, which just added a few minutes to our check in... otherwise a beautiful place and lovely condo.

This condo was one of the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Quieter as it was not a pool area. Furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was quite comfortable. TV and sound bar were GREAT! The view couldn’t be better. It’s Excellent!

Nice Condo (wish there was more in the description)

The complex and condo were both really nice. The location is great. The description of what is listed is accurate. I think the condo being managed by a company and so much of the description being for many properties doesn't allow for an accurate description of this particular property. Meaning I wish I had known I needed to pack a hair dryer and coffee grounds. I also didn't realize there wasn't a washer & dryer in the condo. Just things I wish I had known before packing. The condo was really nice and the location great!

Nice and Updated

This condo is very well decorated and designed. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was comfortable for our family of four. The view is spectacular and the amenities are top notch. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Well manicured grounds. The location is unbeatable as it is right on the beach. We plan to come back and make this our regular stay.
